I think if Rita is there she wouldn't get higher than 5th on main because I think the top 4 or 5 each day are pretty set. Can't see rudimental or bastille being any less than main stage 4th or 5th, and for that reason I doubt Rita will be there this year

Days splits coming very soon

How soon is soon ?

the second announcement was in April last year, if I recall correctly, but with Glastonbury looking likely to announce in the last week of April that's out so I'd expect V to get in in the next three weeks or so.

Wonder if they will break it down further into current stage splits too.

99% certain it'll be what they do pretty much ever year and just an updated poster with day splits first.

think this discussion would be better suited to the 'are V's ticket sales in crisis' thread tbh..

just a picture of someone doing the splits.

:sarcastic:

Looks like Rudimental are subbing 4Music to me

sorry scrap that, they already said they were main stage

Killers/Chic/Paolo/Lily/Rudimental

Axwell & Ingrosso/Sub Focus

Chase & Status

?

Chase & Status clashing with A&I makes no sense though, maybe C&S got it wrong when they said they were in The Arena and Chic are headlining there.

killers/paolo nutini/lily allen/rudimental

axwell/chase and status/sub focus

chic/someone unnanounced

would be amazed if they have their very special guests up against a headliner

    • Thanks so much - that's very helpful. Someone else mentioned getting a train from Loughborough to East Midlands Parkway, and then a festival shuttle from there to the site. I think they were then going to come back on the Skylink Derby to Loughborough - I assume this is because the trains don't run as late as the Skylink, otherwise they would just come back the same way they came?! Is the transport hub a long way from the main stage? Just wondering what time I would need to leave Linkin Park to be sure of getting a shuttle. As I say, I am sure it will all be clear on the day, even after a few beers! Just hope the rain stays away...
    • I really don't think they would put Olivia Rodrigo on Occident stage. If it was her, they would put her in earlier Mordor slot and move Big Thief or Little Simz to Occident.   Fontaines DC are more probable, but don't really match the hype. However, again, if the hype was real, the artist would end up in Mordor.   That being said, I would love to see Fontaines DC tonight.
    • After all the good advice on here I had a nice visit to the site earlier in the week.    Walked down from Pilton village to Hitchen Hill and down the footpath to the Wood by Woodies.    Really strange seeing the site empty of 100,000 people. There is far more hedges and woodland on the site than you remember when the festival is on. Can see the stone circle and some structures still up on site. And looks like Worthy View has some camping going on there during the summer too.   Lots was fenced off with electric fencing to help wth the cattle grazing. Is really amazing how they set up the site as its hard enough accessing the area by car and foot nevermind all the kit needed to set the festival up. As others said you can't walk the whole site but nice to see the site again after a few years away   Pilton is also a lovely village with a nice village hall shop and post office attached, and got to speak to some locals who told me a few tales of past festivals down the years. One house for sale there would be lovely to live in - if only I had £2 million going spare
    • 6music just shared a video of all of Fontaines DC singing along to the Cure last night. It'll be them. Booooo    Olivia might get up for I Love You though...
