Ed is on his own, no band or anything

Yeah thats how he tends to do his shows. Or at least thats what he was like when I saw him on his old tour. Thought he was good, cant wait to see him again

Bastille were great earlier

yeah I thought they were too

Something was missing from Ed's set, it was missing that spark.

Watching Clean Bandit, they're pretty poop.

I think the set was still fairly good, maybe it lacked the intimacy of the smaller arena gigs he has done before.

Calvins set was good. I was watching and listening to that while watching football, going to try do the same for the first half of Coldplay but football is getting interesting aha

Awh Pharrell was great fun, likewise Lily which somehow has gone down better in the R&L section than here :sarcastic: Ed wasn't at 100% but it was his first festival gig for about 18 months so I'm optimistic he'll pick up by V..

twin atlantic went down well although obviously that was partly down to the scottish factor

I didnt think Pharrell was that much fun, but that could be because our fire alarm went off halfway through his set so I missed part of the last half :P

if Rita Ora needed to murder Beyonce she could at least have learnt the words

Kings Of Leon were amazing with Chris Martin

funny definition of 'amazing', except for CM it was exactly the same set they've been playing for the last 18 months, boring

I'd love to see Franz Ferdinand fill that gap in the tent but they're too similar to The Killers :(

Which gap are we talking about?

surprised nobody's picked up on the fact newton faulkner is playing main stage at T, surely makes him unlikely to be in the tent at V which at least I had him down for

ben howard also a possible to headline the tent on killers day surely

Example also is headlining the tent there but is 3rd on main at V as far as we can assume, and Katy B is main.

However, if we got by what T have, we could have JT, Ed, Example, Bastille, Kaisers, Kodaline, Newton. Then maybe someone like Human League or Paul & Jacqui.

Frank Turner or London Grammar would be my bet (and preference, tho I wouldn't mind Franz, still never seen them)

LG availability depends on which day they're booked for at some Norweigan fest though

    • Proper loser behaviour wearing a tee like that. Me and my mate play a game every year called ‘Boomer Tees’ and there’s some gems every time.

    • It'd be new album stuff if it were to happen I think.  First 2027 headliner in the bag also?
