Ticket Re-sale:Delight or Dismay?

So share your story here, good or bad?

Personally I got through at a minute or two after 9, with one false start that needed a reload and got my ticket :) Good thing as well as I have 8 days booked off work, return flights and a hotel booked either side of Glastonbury! Email came straight away as well.

Have to say though the only reason I got mine so quickly, if at all, was because of the link 'Krazypinkminx' put up. Thank YOOOUUU :D beverage on me at the cider bus meet?

Felt for you lot screaming 'help!' on the threads, I only got in the first time and then Chrome kept giving me 'Oops!' :(

Delight for me!

Got to the reg details page the first time & there was no 'buy tickets' button at the bottom! Was just composing a strongly worded email to See when I got another page up!

Can't actually believe it - I honestly thought there was no chance for this morning!

was pressing F5 for five minutes straight to no avail. then got put onto the details page, entered details, and got kicked off (needless to say screaming at my laptop). another five minutes of F5ing and i was back on it, and completed the form. sorted!

so happy. really had lost all hope - honestly thought that it was gonna give me the 'sold out' page when anything other than a blank screen popped up

I got nowhere despite refreshing in two browsers in multiple tabs. Luckily a friend got through and got our tickets. So glad we coordinated. Maybe next year we should group people into sets of four to maximise chances.

Man, I got sick of this screen:

Delight! Felt like I was hitting F5 for ages (I guess I probably did start at around 8.45!), finally got first sight of a booking page about 9.05, then got the holding screen in between each stage of the booking process (particularly the one before entering payment details - felt like I was refreshing for hours!) - but must have got them just after 9.10 as confirmation email came through at 9.17!

Well - after all these posts I feel like an abject failure!! I had 3 friends trying for me and even went into the office so I could use both the computers there and still managed to fail miserably!! I'm sick of F5 and the holding page! Better luck next year as they say - unless I can find a competition and win some that is! Here's hoping :-)

Delight. There were 4 of us trying and it was my friend in Australia who actually managed to get through online.

I have to say the tactics thread in the Questions forum was a huge help (I compiled all the tips and emailed them to my friends) - so THANK YOU to anyone who contributed.

I really feel for those who missed out - I know the feeling all too well.. But for now I'm on cloud 9. I still can't believe I'm going and it hasn't sunk in yet...

Delight for all who got tickets, and whoever got my returned ticket. Enjoy the music, there's no were else with as much musical choice. If its your first time the experience will be amazing for you. My Glastonbury days are over now,I have mixed feelings about ending it,the music side I will miss, the camping, long walk from car parks and weird stuff I won't.

Delighted with this resale day! Ticket day was marred by being the only one to get a ticket and the thought of going to my first Glastonbury alone. Dragged myself out of bed to get my mates tickets and my auntie her ticket. Could not be happier with how it went.

Now I have to contain myself for the next couple of months

Delight!

In a moment of panic at having got through, we accidentally booked coach travel for Thursday rather than Wednesday. But still, we're going!

So what will we miss? About 24 hours of atmosphere and good vibrations and a prime pitch. But not going would be so much worse.
