Walkways have surface mud but fields are holding up well. I would guess if we don't have more rain from here we should be ok but go for walking boots from now

The Park entrance is a muddy slippery bugger! There is a fair amount of surface mud about. Lounging anywhere one wants is very much not happening Splashy mud paths leaving everyone's legs about their calfs splattered with the brown stuff

Its 5:00am in Pennards... And its not raining, quite a bit of mud and water and to be honest it did ruin it a bit for me yesterday, it was heavy at times and prolonged.. Quite a bit of grass muddied up too. A bit o sunshine and if the rain holds off it will be a dustfest by sunday!

Still raining this morning but hoping it stops soonish looking at the radar it shouldn't be long. I went to bed around 11 and there was very shallow mud pretty much anywhere with traffic. It would dry up quick if the rain stops and the sun comes out... Hurry up sunshine!

The forecasting models were really quite bobbar in missing this rainy period... was supposed to be light showers if anything... disappointing!

It is a narrow band of showers. Should be gone wihtin the hour. With a slight possibility of a few showers this evening but you may get lucky and escape those. I, meanwhile, am heading for a very soggy London town. Stop moaning and enjoy being in the best place on planet this weekend :-)

Seriously guys, that 'rain' didn't even manage to clean the 2011 mud of my boots. Half arsed drizzle has not created mud, the ground is solid with a bit of dirty water on top. Mud? Pah!
