Light rain in the area does not necessarily mean at Worthy. Due to the topology of the area Pilton often gets different weather than Shepton and Wells. We are on the side of the Mendips and the top of the hill gets worse weather than we do. Think micro climates and stop worrying,

His advice is that once you are on the ground deal with it, weather happens everyday. If in doubt at any stage during the proceedings, lay on your back as close to someone as possible and lick your own gentials.

New Jackone

There is no question the charts have become less good over the past few days. Most notably for tomorrow, some moderate rainfall can be expected and that is potentially troublesome, in any case any dampness should dry out quickly given the dry ground and the remainder of the festival looking dry.

Despite synoptically not looking as good for the weekend, conditions should not be too bad, dry and bright and getting better as each day progresses, also overnight temps are not likely to be too low either.

Ratings :-

Yesterday in brackets

Festival Dryness (0= washout, 10=dry) 6/10 (7/10) Thursday now shows some moderate rain, however apart from this mostly dry.

Ground Mudbath Rating (0=mudbath, 10 = dustbowl) 6.5/10 (7/10) Apart from some brief dampness early Friday, things should dry up quickly over the weekend.

Heatwave rating (0 = freezing, 10 = heatwave), 7/10 (7/10) With upper air temps set to rise, Temps are set to be in the 20s, perhaps mid 20s over the weekend.

Newspaper Taglines

people, people, people, please stop this obsession because it isn't healthy. I had my breakfast in the garden this morning to enjoy the Pilton sunshine. If it rains, it rains. Deal with it and move on. The ground is harder than bigdog and the local forecast from the ever pessimistic BBC is for some rain in the SW. It is not going to be 2007 and not 2010, it will be Glastonbury so stop worrying and fecking enjoy it.

    • I found the vibe a little different to recent editions.. definitely an older crowd, less queer, less Spanish.. certainly has something to do with the lack of Glastonbury this year. And I felt Saturday was a little overcrowded. I‘ve never seen Mordor as full as last night for the xx and Gorillaz. Did not enjoy that too much.
    • Not my favourite year either, despite liking the lineup more than previous years. Not sure what it was, I guess Thursday really put the brakes on things. But yeah I'll be back next year hopefully. And maybe Massive Attack will return...
    • E-mail summarizing Saturday - Primavera Sound 2026 Journal Day 3. As in previous days, it's going to be on the website soon, I think.
    • I was surprised as well. I met more than 20 different people on both Friday and Saturday that had come in reusing QR codes.
