estanfield
Does anyone know when Coachella 2014 tickets go on sale?
jadel74
Presale will probably be within the next few weeks.
supasum
I am planning on going Coachella next year with a group of mates, was wondering if any one had any tips and had any idea how strict they are with alcohol as we will all only be 20 at the time. thewayiam
Well since you can only drink in designated areas at Coachella & given the American's strict attitude towards alcohol (compared to the UK)... I should imagine you'll be shit out of luck if you're looking to get pissed all weekend.
jadel74
There's an announcement Monday. Probably dates for 2014 and pre-sale ticket announcement.
jadel74
Presale tickets on sale this Friday. Only time you will be able to take advantage of the 6-month payment plan.
Matt42
Mumford & Sons Macklemore & Ryan Lewis. (Yes they are big enough, and fit with coachella's image). Daft Punk If not Daft Punk, who it's likely to be... Queens of The Stone Age.
jadel74
Yeah, going to have to disagree with you about Macklemore & Ryan Lewis. They are in no way Coachella headliners. They may be on the lineup, but they wouldn't headline. Or even subheadline. Fourth line at best.

thewayiam
I wouldn't say no to a ticket back there but I'm glad I did it once if only ever once.

Matt42
Actually I go completely back on that. Combined, thrift shop was number one in the US for eleven weeks and his second one "Can't Hold Us", has been number one for three weeks. Getting a number one in the US is difficult, some stars that are known worldwide have never done it! He could headline, easily. You're just seeing it from a UK perspective because he's not as big. Matt42
I don't know why people find this so mad? Macklemore could headline! I don't remember Phoenix getting major US attention but they still did!
Gucci Piggy
1. Why did you say you're going back on the statement, and then do the complete opposite. 2. Edit: Your argument is the equivalent of saying "Rita Ora can headline Glastonbury if Radiohead can, because she gets more chart attention". dentalplan
It's not saying that at all, Rita Ora hasn't had more chart success than radiohead... Just because he's a mainstream act doesn't mean I have that argument I'm saying that he has enough US attention to justifiably headline. Rita Ora hasn't been number one for eleven weeks in the UK with their debut chart single, then had another song to rival that success... KeithDelBasso
Macklemore might headline the Gobi or Mojave but Main Stage? No chance.
