thesecretingredientiscrime
The Joy Formidable ruled themselves out weeks ago. As good as The National would have been, their tour dates always made it slightly unlikely. Jurrasic 5 are touring the wrong end of June. Laura Marling has played two in a row. Yeah Yeah Yeah's and Bat For Lashes are both Latitude exclusives. Franz and Bombay are Bestival exclusives. shinobidandy
Was hoping for Maccabees and holding out hope for New Order and Depeche Mode but alas!
Badlands
Frank Ocean and Jurassic 5 are the big two for me, especially Frank as I've been enjoying a load of his live stuff on YouTube. Am I right in thinking there's no hip hop act on Friday afternoon this year?

fightoffyour
I'm convinced The National are still going to play. Nothing will sway this until I see the final line up, times and all.

fightoffyour
Yeh some of the expectations on here are a bit strange given bands not touring/being exclusives elsewhere. I think it's turned into 'who did you want to play'. Cribs have said they're not playing much at the moment, think one of the only fests they're doing is Y-Not. YYY's exclusive at Latitude and in US when Glasto is on? Still expect Modest Mouse, and expect Japandroids and Youth Lagoon to get added for some of the low slots on JP/Park. Mud Dweller
Beady Eye, I know what Liams said about Glastonbury before but really thought they'd whore themselves out to every festival this year. They need to after that awful first album

Homer
Leftfield, someone said they were playing the Fri night which would suit me. The line-up is missing one big dance act for my tastes (not a Chase and Status fan!).

johnnyg123
Billy Bragg has tweeted: Glastonbury Festival bill announced: Left Field back for another year and yours truly on the Pyramid Stage again! Al2006
John Grant, The National, Jurassic 5, Atoms For Peace, The Knife, Frank Ocean.. But if the line up had all of them as well, there would be way too many bands to see!!
sisco
unless it's Professor Green then you're right! wonder if there's one to be added or if they're just stopping that tradition this year wish the lineup was laid out in order with gaps in toe so we could have a good guess at who was going to fill them
FloorFiller
This exactly!! I'm sure in 2010 that was what happened? Anyone have any ideas when it is actually seperated. I'm sure there will be someone going through Facebook/twitter writing down bands dates as we speak........ If not, someone do it! Please of course. sisco
yeah it definitely was as there were 'Special Guest' slots everywhere - fourth down on Pyramid for Dead Weather, bottom of each day for Rolf Harris etc. made it very exciting. although there's a possibility they haven't ironed out all the creases yet and so aren't sure exactly where the gaps will be plus, as others have said, in '11 they re-jigged the lineup around a lot which pissed people off so doing it this way people can't get pissed off as they've never confirmed which bands are on which days 'officially'
cwaite123
I'm surprised at no Frank Ocean and The National, would both be good additions if they could get them/in talks. Especially Frank Ocean to the Pyramid to add more variety
cwaite123
Also what about The Knife? Their exclusivity for Bestival was removed so they surely must be playing somewhere else, unless things have changed since then

coma girl
Was really hoping/expecting Suede, thought Toots may be in with a shout too. Still lots to announce though so bound to be a few more good acts added.
