They'd definitely pull a huge crowd. Even if they headlined on the Other Stage. As I've said on another Portishead thread, the sound would be terrific on the Other Stage. It would be such an epic moment.

i'm really unsure on how much of a pull they are - i know they have a big dedicated fanbase but at a festival like Glastonbury i'm not sure how big their pull would be up against one of the main headliners...

West holts sounds good to me, though as i have said i could see so many clashes it would ruin me!

id see them again aslong as they never clashed with someone else.

I think that their most known songs to the general public came out 18 years, cant see them pulling many under 25 away from the pyramid

I'm a huge Arctic Monkeys fan but have never seen Portishead, I missed them in '98 because I was only 13 and didn't really fancy it, don't think I will get many other chances to see them whereas I've seen Arctics about 7 times! It's a no brainer really but I know most of my mates will see the Monkeys...

Great news! Gutted they are up against Chic though, if that is the case, i really would have thought would have been better for the Sunday night like Kool and the Gang last time round. I live in hope that this is the case. If the Foals are under Portishead then it's the Other all the Friday

I've seen both before so it's a tough one. Portishead were fantastic though; brought my friend to tears during roads.

The a few hours of looking at the line up lots, reading all the threads on here and checking some bands I haven't heard of, I've now settled and chilling out listening to Dummy, haven't decided if they're the ones for me on Friday yet though.
