am i the only one who finds this festival creepy? every year accidents, deaths, etc. ... i think i couldn't have a good time over there without thinking from now to then about these things, despite that the lineup every year is a blast

I still think Skrillex will be announced, possibly to close the festival (urgh). I also think Empire of the Sun, of Monsters and Men and hopefully Django Django again but this time on the main stage. Really looking forward to pp now. Roll on August.

Any tips on which nearby residents do this? How much do they charge? Do they allow you to use their shower etc? Would they be full by Thursday midday or can you reserve in advance? Any help would be appreciated, thanks :)

Just be clear, I mean for camping. Thanks :)

Incidentally the comments about the showers outside the festival site may not be so far-fetched. If you head north up the road (left out of the campsite, right out of the festival site) as far as the traffic lights, then take a left, there's a kind of village hall/community centre about 75 metres down on the left. They definitely open up their nice clean toilets to festivalgoers for a fee, and while I may be imagining it, I'm 90% certain they also had showers in there people could pay to use.

Having just listened to Bombino (I'd never heard of him before the announcement), I'm now very much looking forward to seeing him. Nice to see Pukkelpop pick up on a bit of World Music for a change.

agree world music is amazing!

still didn't hear too much of the bands that I don't know but already pick some interesting small names

Bombino sounds really good

I love that even names that written so small or you haven't heard about them

sound good and I will see them live

any recommendations about rock bands that written small on the lineup?

tnx

    • Tonight was a disgrace. There wasn't *that* much rain, and it wasn’t *that* windy. A festival of this size should be able to withstand some adverse weather without it bringing the whole circus to a standstill. And if it is true that part of a speaker on the Revolut stage fell…   As for the communication - announcing Massive Attack were playing at 12:30 and then nothing for over an hour while people waited in the rain. It’s laughable it really is.   If I said I’ll never come back again I’d be lying. The shambles of Barcelona 2022 and the disgrace of Madrid 2023 didn’t stop me, so this probably won’t either.   This festival gets so much wrong, but it is always saved by having such killer line-ups. It’s just a shame it treats the fans/customers/consumers like animals. Compare it to somewhere like Glastonbury and it’s worlds apart.
    • Yeah, I admit that a small part of me felt relieved when they announced that MA are canceled.. But on the positive side- got to see Florence Road afterall, and they were great
    • Glad I could take the €3 bus to Playa Catalunya! Hope y'all warm and dry up.
