  1. found out on Songkick that Tom Morello will play 20.6, also written in his website, maybe new names soon then. wonder if it's big enough for headline slot, anyway, second day looks very good and busy
  2. missed that Parkway Drive played this year. saw ZZ Top few years ago and they were great, they just announced concert in Aarhus on 1/7 though, but do think lineup missing some classic rock. Igorrr are also good. maybe will get some surprise for headliner or a band that didn't announce tour yet. Pearl Jam is probably way too much right? from rumors it's seems like it will be preety short tour in places they always play.. on the other hand less intresting bands on main or second stage give more time to visit 3rd and 4th stages 😄
  3. Hi, when usually full lineup is announced? not so many names left I think but wonder if there will be something before christmas/new year. also saw there is a winter edition of Copenhell by the end of January so maybe they are more into that now. my guesses for headliners changed due to tour updates, BMTH seems less likely as they are only available to headline 20.6 but then they will have 4 days shows. also thought it might ends up with something like Alice Cooper, Deep Purple or Scorpions but they also have busy schedule which make it less possible. my main guess now is Deftones and second maybe Parkway Drive though I don't know them much and have no idea how they are considered in Denmark. also wonder if all second stage headliners announced, for first two days probably yes with either Bruce Dickinson, Corey Taylor, The Offspring, Limp Bizkit and Mr. Bungle but not sure regarding 3rd day, maybe Machine Head? and mostly for the last day. some nice names in Tons of Rock, would love to see Europe, Heart, Opeth and Turnstile.
  4. both this and Copenhell looks great, I already have tickets for Metallica in Copenhagen so the plan is to continue to Copenhell but would love to see some names from Tons of Rock there and if it won't happen Tons might become the one I will visit. anyone been there and can share any info? vibes, stages, clashes, transportation and anything else..
  5. new names! so happy for Mr. Bungle, Body Count and Chelsea Wolfe and didn't see Steel Panther yet which might be fun. was hoping for Pain and Witch and some more from Hellfest/Graspop recent announcements but still nice. I don't know any band written after Chelsea Wolfe though.. something good? no mention for any of them headlining so still missing two headliners. lineup shaping up really good
  6. yeah I relized BMTH becomes much bigger and headliming now, not much for me but if rest of the day and lineup will be good then I'm ok if headliners are not perfect. Smashing Pumkins are one of my favorites band, saw them 3 times on 2019, they played just before Tool in Rock Im Park and headlined Mad Cool a month later but checked now and they are only available on the 20 as they are playing in Germany on 19, 21 and 22 so guess they won't play 4 days in a row and in another country... still hoping for Mike Patton return to Europe as Mr. Bungle are playing in the US. either them or Faith No More will be amazing but not sure he is ready.
  7. seems possible. QOTSA will play one of the day 20-22.6 on Azkena in Spain while BMTH are playing Southside and Hurricane in Germany on 21 and 23 so can be available on the 20. not the best set of headliners for me. saw Only Tool few years ago and they were great, not sure if it will be much different but good name. QOTSA same as A7X I don't like to many songs but can be ok for a festival and missed them at Mad Cool 2018. BMTH I barely know but not quite my kind, are they consider big on Denmark? didn't see them on Rock Im Park as they clashed Dropkick Murphys.. not expecting much from Headliners and wonder if there still might be a band that hasn't announce shows yet beside Tool but feel that overall it will be good lineup. from Nova Rock lineup I will be happy if either Avril Lavigne (guess not likely), Billy Talent, Body Count, Jane's Addiction or Sum 41 will be added
  8. Just saw that day splits already updated on app. A7X, Bruce Dickinson, The Offspring and Corey Taylor playing the first day
  9. some pretty good names. not a fan of Avenged Sevenfold but might be fun for a festival and not sure how Bruce Dicikinson live solo but also might be good. happy with The Offspring, Corey Taylor, Hammerfall, Biohazard, Karnivool and Corrosion of Conformity. when usually day splits is announced? (can't login the account I reply here above amfest12)
  10. Thanks! I acctually booked a room with cancallation option in Malmo for two gap days between Metallica and Copenhell. wonder if there will be some gigs there too but might be nice to visit there as well and around 10 days in Copenhagen might be too much, yet it's only two full days so probably won't travel that far. so lineup.. what do you think of first names and who you do think or wish might be added as headliner and rest of the lineup? personally hope AC/DC and RATM will tour in Europe next year but if so I believe they won't do too many festivals. If Faith No More will be back it will be amazing and also really want to see Baroness, Katatonia, Living Colour, Pain and W.A.S.P.
  11. wow thank you so much again! Yes, by searching for rooms in city center on Booking I realize how expensinve is it and didn't find other alternatives but will search for rooms around Christianshavn. I didn't do VIP on any other festival I've been too but in some there was a ring on half of the front of main stage saved for VIP but I understand it's not the case in Copenhell so probably can do regular ticket. You mentioned on previous note about lack of indoor places so wonder if it's heavy raining or very hot will it be a problem to find a place to hide or chill for a bit if not on RIP area? asking again if you have any idea if tickets price usually increase after a while or remains the same? If I remember correctly it wasn't sellout quickly previously so might have time to think and purchase but if price will increase maybe better to get it now. tnx!
  12. Tickets available - 2755 for combi ticket, 3855 for RIP ticket found on web it's written "festival guests with a R.I.P. wristband will get access to a podium deck with limited access on the embankment at the end of the Hades stage area" is it something worth considering and do you know anything about RIP area? tnx
  13. Thank you so much!! really helpful with a lot of information. regarding transportaion notes, do you think I might consider search accommodation outside the center for festival days? I'm not quite a cycler 😄 but also never been there. and do you know if tickets price usually increase after few months or remains the same and if it should be possible to resale? from this great photo and other photos and videos I've seen it looks like a really nice and fun festival. I also never been to Graspop and Hellfest, was at Rock Im Park and few more mainstream festivals but seems it will be difficult to convice friends who were there to try bit smaller festival but I will try as I heard good things about Copenhagen so hope to get there. big thanks again
  14. looks ok for first names without headliners, would like to see Die Krupps, Dropkick Murphys for the second time, Fu Manchu, Machine Head and Zulu. wonder who will be added and who might be the headliners. I already have tickets for Metallica on 14 & 16.6 and thinking to stay longer for Copenhell as well but still needs to search for partners and check prices so not sure it will happen. would appreciate if you'll write all comes in mind about the festival as it's less known for me as compare to Graspop or Hellfest - general vibes, how crowded is it, stages and how far are from each other, food & drinks and prices, transportation since I'm not that into camping and anything else you can think of. also would like to ask if ticketmaster DK gives option to resale tickets (both for Metallica and the festival) or if there is any resale platform in case plans will change but hopefully it won't. tnx
  15. set times for Guns N' Roses, Take That and Blackpink days updated now. have fun everyone going for Pink's days! It will be great if you can share information about festival ground, queues, activties, merch, food and drinks prices and choises or anything else
  16. there is BST 2023 thread where you can see more comments which might help and gives more info. Schedule wasn't announced yet but I think Guns will start bit earlier as their show is probably longer than Pink's so guess around 19:30 as curfew is around 22:30 but never been there so not sure. also don't know much regarding queuing, don't think that too many people will stand there for 6-7 hours to wait for the concert but guess that before The Darkness and Pretenders it might gets more crwoded so probably better to get in until around 16:00
  17. Map, Blackpink + Pink schedule and now Springsteen support acts updated, again I don't know anything beside the top two acts and only interested in Frank Turner. If you have any recommendations for 6/7 would love to hear, thanks
  18. only last week full lineups of Take That and Guns N' Roses dates announced and there are only one or two acts for Billy Joel and Bruce Springsteen dates that were announced last year. Lana's concert announced just few weeks ago so I guess they might skip the announcement of main support act and just announced full lineup soon, though with that crazy fast sale maybe they don't need to bother adding anything else 😄 speaking of full lineups, gotta say that althouge I want to see The Darkness and can't say Pretenders aren't good band but both aren't the most exciting acts and I didn't know any of the other bands announed, heard few songs of each and nothing seems that interesting so not sure I'm that tempted to get there early. feel a bit weak comparing Pearl Jam and Rolling Stones days or lineups from previous years. hope for 1-2 nice names for Bruce Springsteen. did you see any of those acts and can say it's worth seeing?
  19. so you're saying that they can decide whenever they want if diamond view is on the side as in map or all of it is in front of the gold circle? did they do it in the past? got gold circle for both GNR and Bruce and now bit worried. also saw some videos from Adele last year and Eric Clapton on 2018 from people mentioned they were on diamond section and seems they were in front the center of the stage
  20. looking at previous years seems that there are 3 stages and around 3-5 acts each, thing is this is sold out for months so not sure they will add something very interesting. preety happy with Frank Turner but will be nice for one or two more good acts to make it nicer
  21. happy that Frank Turner on the day I'm going. don't know The Chicks yet, do you think they will stay main support act?
  22. I believe she is too big name for support an already sold out event. do wonder why still nothing announced for Bruce days, hope for something soon though not expecting too much
  23. not a bad start, Pretenders are good and enojoyed them few years ago but can't say it's the most exciting main sub which they will probably be. happy for The Darkness which I wanted to see and might be fun act. was hoping for The Cult but they are playing somewhere else that day. still hope for 2-3 nice names and wonder if there is any chance for Porcupine Tree that playing Manchester the day before but it's quite different vibe. any of them or Europe, Blue Oyster Cult and Fishbone will be great. now waiting for Bruce Springsteen days announcement as well, only going for the first day so hope there won't be too many good things on the second day 😄
  24. are they usually announce one speaical guest before the rest of the lineup? hoping for something for Guns N' Roses and Bruce Springsteen days. wonder if Guns N' Roses day will be more "heavy" or "classic".. saw that Skunk Anansie announce few dates, also Porcupine Tree playing Manchester on 29/6
