I'd say more Status Quo than Slash. Slash has a lot of mainstream appeal. Whereas ZZ Top do not, they would go down a treat though.

Nowadays I would say so if you asked a couple of people who that guy with the top hat and guitar was they would most likely say Slash. Then if you asked if they knew any songs you would probably get Sweet Child of Mine as answer. Status Quo are popular more so now that the original line up are touring but more popular than Slash I wouldn't say so. Although this is all my opinion obviously.

Maybe in a younger age group but I'd say in general it would definitely be Quo. Everybody knows them and can sing their songs (because they all sound the same).

They're in Cork on the Thursday and Hamburg on the Sunday. Don't seem to have a problem with successive nights so hopefully they're booked for the Friday. Would be a must see for me
