Tattoos & Piercings

I've got a few tattoos, with my favourite being a sugar skull as it reminds me of my Mum who passed away last xmas and it's always the one people seem to show the most intrest in.

For some reason I never liked piercings tho, I can look at them and go that's nice but I just have no desire to get one done.

I only have one tattoo but would love a few if i had the money! Its my avatar on here, on my wrist.

I don't mind piercings but what i really can't get into are spacers or whatever they are called - those big hole/loop things. Each to their own of course but i don't like them.

5 piercings (all my ears) 16 tattoos (various places). I'll be getting more tattoos for sure, but I'm done with piercings. I got my ears pierced when I was younger and I like them enough to keep them, but not enough to ever get more!

Katster, a few of my mates have tunnels and I'm with you, don't think they're for me!

I have one tattoo, a wee shooting star on my wrist which was a spur of the moment thing. I don't really like it so I want it covered up.

I have 5 piercings at the moment, both earlobes, tragus, forward helix and nose. I've also had my lip pierced twice, scaffolding and 2 more in each ear lobe but I think they've all closed now.

I really want more piercings but because I haven't had anything done in ages I've started to worry about the pain.

Love that sugar skull! I've seen plenty in a more traditional style but I'm not sure I've seen one so stylised!

As ive said in another sub forum ive got 2 bjork tattoo's with a third to be done over christmas, also got my daughters initials on my wrist.

I fancy having a bob dylan tattoo on my arm next year.

Had various piercings over the years and had 12" tunnels but let them all close up now.Got 7 tattoos so far but my sleeve is all drawn up just saving the pennies now.It's dedicated to my friends and family and tells my life story so far.

Of the ones I've got so far i have a large remembrance tattoo on my chest for someone important to me which incorporates the HIM heartagram & a large skull with wings based on the Avenged Sevenfold logo on my back to remind me of a specific time in my life that I'm the most proud of.

phi and pi on the wrists, hammer, sickle and star on the left arm, che guevara on the right. No piercings, not really my thing. I have plans to continue both arms in the future, but waiting for the time when it fits financially.

When I made the topic I didn't share my own. I have never had any piercings, they just don't appeal to me especially the national geographic stretchers.

I have a half sleeve/bit of back piece with the bulk of it being comprised of a woman with wings falling through space and clouds, with a dharma wheel, phi symbol and a quote.

Got no piercings and have no desire for any but tats do tempt me. Will probably hold off for a while though as am only 18 and I don't want to get any that I will regret.

When I start some courses as an ice breaker I get everyone to play People Bingo where they have to go round talking to others in the group to find people who match different criteria like: "Find someone who can speak more than one language and what languages are they?"

A couple of years ago I realised so many people now had tattoos that I added: "Find someone who has a tattoo, what is it and what's the story behind it?"

I usually get at least two out of a dozen with tattoos and usually the stories behind them are fascinating.

Don't have one myself but I'm an old fart and a wimp.

I did have both my ears pierced when I was in my late teens, one of them still bleeds if I pick it, 21 years later!

I have a tatt on my left shoulder of a horses head, all snorty and that. I really liked it at the time, I dont dislike it even now - but as I have probably only seen it twice, it isnt really a concern of mine. When I got it done, I was about 40 minutes choosing it in the shop, my mate just walked in and said "I'm having that one" - it was the most ridiculous tattoo ever, and he got it right on his bicep. Still makes me chuckle, it looks like a toad with a ball and chain, as if a slightly special child had drawn it.

I think colour tattoos look afwul when there fading.
