Just got another confirmation e-mail. Has anyone got any idea what time the box office opens? It states gates open at 6:15pm and show starts 7:45pm, I'm standing and I'll be happy to be about half way to the front to be honest. I'm tall enough to see over most people and want to be able to take it all in without being to near the front, getting a bit old for that...sarcastic.gif

Re Box Office collection: If it's anything like for the o2 gigs, it was only pre-sale tickets bought through r-w.com that had to be collected in person on the night. I was somewhat concerned about queues and problems but it was a completely painless experience. Just wandered virtually straight up up to the Box Office which opened a couple of hours or so before the arena doors opened. No significant queue, just a couple of peeps in front of each window, showed e-mail & ID and was handed shiny golden tickets tix in hand-written named envelope. All sorted and a very happy bunny in less than a couple of mins so plenty of time for beer 'n' munchies and a bit of wandering around etc. before the show. They were pretty hot on ID matching the name/address on the ticket order though so don't forget it ! No ID = no tix will not make for an enjoyable evening and all that wink.png

well it starts at 7:45PM and its claimed it has a running time of 2 1/2 hours { in his recent shows } http://www.hollywood...coliseum-327028 but you never know as he may slip in some extra tracks ' after the wall '

So on paper your looking at 10.15 ' if he sticks to his previous shows ' although I would be surprised if he did not do a few encores.

Watching him on this 12:12:12 gig here. Its weird. Hes gone a bit showbiz on Another Brick in the Wall these days. Kids dancing in stage, lots of gesturing to the crowd, fist pumping etc.

And he looks sort of happy to be there too. What the fuck is going on here? Spit at someone and say something snotty about "A Momentary Lapse of Reason" will you? Thats what the punters have paid to see.

Yeah had it set to record and everything and cancelled at the last minute! Emailed them there about telling them that you wouldn't catch BBC 4 doing that.

Also, whos the bellend singer he has on stage?

Check out this review of the evening by the New Yorker if you fancy a laugh. Very funny.

"Roger Waters was apparently told that the concert was about Roger Waters."

Gotta be honest, and it pains me to say it, part of his performance the other night was bordering on cringing. Lots of hands in the air 80s stadium band stuff, really poor singing (even for him) and the randomer singing Gilmours bits pissed me right off.

Us and Them for example, went from the spine-tinglingly fantastic when it was just the music, to the fingers in the ears horrifically shit when the vocals came in.

Get Gilmour and Mason on the phone Rodge. ASAP.

    • Tonight was a disgrace. There wasn't *that* much rain, and it wasn’t *that* windy. A festival of this size should be able to withstand some adverse weather without it bringing the whole circus to a standstill. And if it is true that part of a speaker on the Revolut stage fell…   As for the communication - announcing Massive Attack were playing at 12:30 and then nothing for over an hour while people waited in the rain. It’s laughable it really is.   If I said I’ll never come back again I’d be lying. The shambles of Barcelona 2022 and the disgrace of Madrid 2023 didn’t stop me, so this probably won’t either.   This festival gets so much wrong, but it is always saved by having such killer line-ups. It’s just a shame it treats the fans/customers/consumers like animals. Compare it to somewhere like Glastonbury and it’s worlds apart.
    • Yeah, I admit that a small part of me felt relieved when they announced that MA are canceled.. But on the positive side- got to see Florence Road afterall, and they were great
    • Glad I could take the €3 bus to Playa Catalunya! Hope y'all warm and dry up.
