Standing for this show on Saturday but in Dublin next Wednesday we have front row seats A and bang in the middle.

I had concerns they were too close but Eric assures me they aren't and they will be excellent seats.

They were changed from Gold Standing to seated after we bought them.

Pleased for you. The show won't be just good, it will be brilliant. Went to a couple last time round in 2011 it was amazing and it is even bigger now. Is this your first Wall show? if it is you are really in for a treat. When the search lights scan the crowd just before "Another Brick in the Wall Part 2" I will give you a wave :D

I saw the Dark Side tour but this is on a completely different level, much bigger and more spectacular, in fact I am sure it will be more impressive than anything else you will have ever seen. I have seen some huge gigs over the years from bands that are known for spectacular shows, but when I saw he Wall back in 2011 it made them look pretty small and low budget. Also the technology used and precise performance is just jaw droppingly amazing.

A few things to look for that shows how much care has gone int the production are; watch in the first half as the bricks are added to the wall they immediately become part of the screen, at the start of the second half during Hey You when the wall is complete notice how the lighting rig is still focused on the area behind the wall as though it wasn't there even though you can't see what is being illuminated, when the second guitar solo in Comfotably Numb watch how Roger walks along in front of the wall putting his ear to it here and there before hitting it (something amazing happens as a result) and during the Trial notice when the Wall spins how Roger who is walking across the stage at the time crouches down to apparently duck underneath it

Just watched some highlights from a recent gig on YouTube. As others have said, the timing of the projections with the music is spot on and the 3D effect of the projection on the wall is amazing.

Cannot. Wait. Being picked up in 10 mins to make our way down to that London - why are you so far away, London?

It was awesome. Unbelievable show, I can't begin to fathom how complicated the whole thing is. Every individual bit, from the bricks to the flying pig, are done perfectly, and the visuals, music and RW himself were all out of this world. Brilliant.

Wembley is still a shithole though. :) Aweful place, it'd take Pink Floyd to get me back there.

although it will never top the Berlin Wall concert 21 July 1990 which I attended { although none will ever get close due to the sheer size { 350,000 ticket holders and a estimated 100,000 were allowed in for free { from east Berlin } - now that is what you call a audience } - not even Wembley has the space for a 550-foot-long by 82-foot-high wall but the Sound was fantastic.
went to my seat to find a joker sitting in it - turns out it was a couple ' chancing their arm ' - I soon moved them on and they moved along the row and were moved again when the real ticket holders showed up - they moved a third time and then moved on - they must have come from level two and were trying to find better seats - the ushers were not bothering to check so anyone could have moved to a better spot -
It never did rain but it was touch and go - the pitch was a sea of people using their iPhone's { or whatever they are called these days }
We could have done with Rogers machine gun outside as it was packed out with ticket touts.
very similar show to his 02 gig last year { or the year before } except his voice was far better this time - if you count the seats where a person can view the stage I would estimate there was 20% empty - most on the top level - anyone who was standing on the pitch was able to get very close as it was not as dense { as say the stage at Glasto } up until the start.
Concert ended at 10.30pm - I shot out and found a train waiting at Wembley Stadium train station and reached Tottenham Hale at 11pm which was bloody fast going - then a 5 mile bus back home .
Overall well worth the money.
first time at the new Wembley - was able to take in a sealed bottle of coke { even although they claim no drink can be taken in } - did not fancy paying £5 for a bottle of Carlsberg.

I agree. Unbelievable. The effects on the wall were out of this world and the surround sound for the gig was quality! Never heard or seen anything like it before! For a guy knocking 70 the man doesn't half put on a show! Brilliant gig, def in my top 3 gigs I have ever seen.

Mind blown also!

Only thing that could make that better would have been doing the Dark Side as an encore!

I couldn't have put it better myself. It absolutely flew by and I was literally on the edge of my seat experiencing some kind of sensory overload!

I have to hand it to you guys - I'd assumed you were exaggerating but everything said here was correct and more. It completely exceeded my expectations. I feel I 'get' Pink Floyd way more now.

I just can't stop thinking about it and remembering stuff. Simply awesome.

    • Considering how popular of a booking Scooter have been I think they'd go down well
    • I mean I think unless you are camped in a particular bit which apparently you just get no sleep i feel it would be better setup to travel in from a hotel each day and back. Ah there is so many downfalls to it for me, I think the Download main stage area is so much better and that's coming from me. If you're camped in green to go round all the time and out for lidl and even water is stupid!
