Latitude 2013

Way too big to even headline Latitude let alone play any lower, and that slot has already gone to Grizzly Bear anyways.

Facebook says the big Sunday slot is being announced tomorrow.

Edwyn Collins? Chelsea Light Moving? Patti Smith? John Cale? Plastic Ono Band? Hugh Laurie? The Flaming Lips?

Possibly Johnny Marr, the guy's playing bloody everywhere.

Fair enough, Grizzly Bear were added to the poster where it previously said special guest so I assumed it was them.

Bobby Womack is fantastic addition, I guarantee it'll be a classic if the sun's out... and even if it's not! Melvin's played a blinder this year, Latitude is blowing everything else out of the water

  • 3 weeks later...

Does anyone think there's a way of being able to get a ticket for this a bit cheaper?

I know for other major festivals it's easy but Latitude doesn't seem to have as much of a secondary ticket market; I really want to go but not for £190.

Not particularly, the greasy touts leave the peaceful utopia of Latitude alone.

    • Wednesday is a nice addition imo
    • Kronenberg in a tent as well IIRC but Brooklyn Pilsner was easier to get without queueing and was everywhere across the festival.
    • I think they'll end up doing something due to pressure and bad PR. Maybe they do a discount code for next year or bar credit or something along those lines.    I agree though. I acknowledge that the lineup is huge but surely you can't cancel 33% of the headliners and not reimburse in some way. Their insurance will probably cover their fees for MA, Doja, Bad Gyal and Mac DeMarco due to force majeure.
    • Looks like nothing for weekend ticket holders. You'd expect a goodwill gesture.
    • Enough has been covered about how much of a sh*t show that was, so I'll just say, Massive Attack and it's relationship with this festival (and potentially me) are f**king cursed.    They were announced in 2020 when I first got excited about seeing them. They were subsequently on the poster for 21, 22 and now 26. This time I was in actually in the crowd close to the stage waiting for them twice haha. I give up!
