Cheers bud, I messaged efests about the KISS rumour and they've put it up on site, wonder if they've heard anymore about it other than that website link though?

I gotta say, it seems mad that they'd accept second stage headlining slot but I guess as they're in Europe at the time it would work out for them and there aren't too many other options.

If they do play, hope I get to see a large chunk of KISS before Slipknot

KISS headlining 2nd isn't that much of a mad booking. A UK arena tour that didn't sell out & a headline slot at a festival that sold f*ck all tickets. Those 2 factors will have affected their bargaining power plus, as you said, if the date works too then what's their other option? To either miss out the UK altogether or to come back at a later date when they've not got other Euro dates.

Seriously, f*ck QOTSA. They've released nothing of note in 10 years, have had more revolving band members than Guns & Roses & they're absolutely mind numbingly dull live, as boring as it gets.

On a positive note, there's a rumour flying round that KISS are headlining 2nd on the Friday. Do want!

Badly Drawn Boy! I saw him the week he won the Mercury Music Prize, he was pissed up on stage, giving money out to the fans, and didn't want to stop playing, they cut his power, his band left, he sat on the edge of the stage and played acoustic guitar singing with no mic with security flanking him trying to get him to go, in the end they turned the lights off!

    • What’s everyone’s thoughts on the map?
    • Only took 31 or so hours after the initial reports but yeah, official now. It's been a genuinely bizarre few days with it all, to say nothing of the continual rumours some of the players being on the way out on top of this change.    Certainly, it enhances the vibe that I have no idea what this season will be like. We've had manager departures early in a season before - Dalglish, Gullit, Robson, Keegan - but one walking out halfway through preseason is uncharted territory. And that's to say nothing of a hard pivot towards a Brighton style model.
    • Yep, 2nd round. Labour's Craig vs Reform's Astley.
    • Ultimately much of EU f**ked up with this, instead of showing solidarity they just said and did some stupid sh*t to supposedly punish Spain for their own political reasons. Ultimately its one of the reasons why EU will never fully reach its potential as long as it remains a group of sovereign states.
    • 2nd count apparently.
