On an unrelated topic I spoke to the guys from Uncle Gio's Calzones last night and they're back at Download this year. Best repeat booking by far!

Never mind if its an unrelated topic, thats outstanding news! Just hope the queues are a little better this year

I'm not gonna lie it made my day yesterday finding that out! The queue is always bad there I don't think there was a time when I got served straight away and I must've gone 10 times over the weekend. It was always worth the wait though.

I queued several times but then another band came on that I didn't want to miss so I gave up, wasn't til the last day I put up with the queue and stayed in it... And was then gutted that I was only finding out about it then! Thats grub sorted then... Should be able to place orders in the morning and have a collection time arranged

Luckily in '11 it was the first place I went for food as it wasn't very busy and since then I've not eaten anywhere else at Download I wish I could order them to my house! That would be brilliant ring them and be like "I'll be there in half hour get me a breakfast calzone ready!"

So, I make it about 5 more mainstage bands left to announce, not sure about second as there is no confirmed lineup for that stage at the moment... Any idea how many names this time?

Got to be 20 plus this time. Friday 2nd headliner, possibly paramore or megadeth. Like to see pure love announced at some point too.

Much as I adore skunk Anansie they're not 2nd stage headliner material anymore. Subbing 2nd at a push, more like 3rd.

Think that was possibly the novelty of having them play though. I didn't think it was the right spot for them, too high. And personally don't think headlining 2nd is right for them now either. 3rd is about right really

They were 3rd on main in 2011.
