I enjoyed RAW this week. It dipped in the middle a bit but overall I thought it was decent. I'm enjoying the IC Title programme. AJ's pop was insane, easily the biggest I've heard for a diva since I started watching WWE again in 2011. I loved the #AxelMania stuff too, especially the whole I've now been in the Royal Rumble for X amount of days

WrestleMania seems pretty clear now I think. Although I can't find a place for Sheamus in my prediction.

Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns

(WWE World Heavyweight Title)

Triple H vs. Sting

Paige & AJ Lee vs. Nikki & Brie Bella

(Divas Championship: Whoever gets the pin, wins the Title)

Bray Wyatt vs. The Undertaker

(Casket Match)

John Cena vs. Rusev

(United States Championship)

Andre The Giant Battle Royal

(Winner=Damien Mizdow)

Randy Orton vs. Seth Rollins

(No Holds Barred)

Goldust vs. Stardust

Bad News Barrett vs. Dean Ambrose vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. R-Truth vs. Daniel Bryan vs. Luke Harper

(Intercontinental Championship Ladder Match)

***PRE-SHOW***

Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn vs. Finn Balor

(NXT Championship)

Cesaro & Kidd vs. The Usos vs. The Ascension vs. The Prime Time Players

(Tag Team Championships)

With them being so pressed for time, I cant see them putting an NXT match even on the pre show. I imagine it would annoy some of the main roster who would be lucky to get 10 seconds in the battle royal. To be honset if there was an NXT match I suspect they would go for a womans match as I suspect the likes of Charlotte and Sasha Banks are next in line for promotion. While my suspicion is that there will be nobody from NXT, I suspect they will be in the battle royal if they are there.

I think Sheamus would have more impact coming back the night after mania. Also is appears Stardust could be put in the IC ladder match, i'd go for something like this.

Cash in

Rollins v Lesnar

Reigns v Lesnar

Wyatt v Taker (Casket Match)

Paige and AJ Lee v Nikki and Brie (Whoever gets the pin wins the belt)

HHH v Sting (No Holds Barred)

John Cena v Rusev

Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal

(Winner - Ryback)

NXT Title match

Balor v Zayn v Owens

IC Ladder match

Bryan Ziggler v BNB v Stardust v Ambrose v R Truth v Harper v Sheamus

Rollins v Orton

Pre Show:

Tag team turmoil

I can't see them using NXT guys. Definitely not for the title as they have already taped all of March and Balor is #1 contender, I think they've taped him against Steen already.

Pre-show will probably be a tag title match. those in it will most likely be in the battle royal too.

Not feeling the usual Mania excitement this year

So Barrett, Ambrose, Ziggler, Truth, Bryan, Harper, Cody & Goldust for the ladder match?

I think its a pity throwing all those together. To me the battle royal is the match to get everyone on the card. The IC match should be about 2 (at the most) 3 people feuding and helping them to get over. I would prefer an Ambrose V Barrett streetfight, to me its a more interesting story than throwing a load of random mid carders together.

I think it's a mistake they included Stardust and Goldust in the IC ladder match, it would have made more sense to have a gimmick match to end their feud, especially since Goldust is retiring.

The reality is in your biggest ppv of the year, neither are big enough stars to get a big singles match. There is just too much competition.

Tbh there's nothing on the bill that really appeals to me, Taker v Bray could be good but without Taker to build it up as well as him not being in great shape has me thinking it'll be rubbish. It doesn't help that they haven't properly announced so many of the obvious matches like Cena v Rusev, Rollins v Orton etc. I was hoping for the AJ v Steph match that had hints before AJ's injury but it now seems it's making way for the Paige & AJ v Bellas.

Goldust/Stardust should have been a match to give a feud the pay off at WM. I thought their match was crap at Fast Lane but was still interested in the direction of the Stardust character, its one of the matches that would make sense, give them 12 minutes. First I've heard about Goldust retiring but if true then that is another reason to make the match. It's the least they could do for his years of service with the company, one last match with your brother on the biggest stage.

I don't buy that they aren't big enough stars. Goldust is more well known to the casual fan than 3/4 of the roster.

cody really should be killing it... most of his promos are top notch, plus i'd like to think there is appeal for a match between him and goldust, given they pissed around with the ending at fastlane - really looked like a botch almost.

really want to see that and a miz vs mizdow -- or could have a miz vs mizdow feud spill over from the battle royal into the next few ppv's

The reality is that Wwe have 2 matches (ladder match and battle royal) to get everyone on the card. These both include ex world champions, including last years headliner. My opinions are not based on personal opinions of them, miz or mizdow. More realisation of where they fit on the roster in the eyes of wwe.

    • sub yes I could see but I don't think they get 1hr 15, a headliner starting at 18:15 though is unlikely. Even the recent co-headlines that have had like 1hr 15 then a 1hr 30 after were on 8pm or just before, you are trailing behind more than 1.5 hours then. In that scenario some 3rd down bands are only starting at 18:15 and some haven't lol. I agree they won't not book them due to this but it won't be 6 headliners. It would be 5 headliners and you wouldn't want to see 5 headliners booked but Biffy were to not be thouhgt of as an option for one. Wolf Alice on the other hand could sub no bother and you'd think nothing of it. I'm not so sure Biffy would get headline though after the festival choice in Kendal this year.
    • Definitely. UKIP also used Merkel welcoming 1 million Afgans to Europe in 2015 during the brexit vote.   Politicians in other countries within the EU know the are going to lose voters to parties to the right of them over stuff like this and they've no control over it.
    • I think it will very much vary on who there is to book who they know will sell out a day.    They’ve co-headline and full headline stuff in future, there no reason at all they won’t do it again, even if it means cutting someone’s set by 15 mins or having a band less in a big bands day…   They’re not going to not book Foo fighters and instead get the equivalent of Florence and C&S just to not have a band do a big set…   …unless of course they think it will make them more money…
    • Maybe some right wing leaders like Meloni are just playing to their base, like Reform have been here talking about them ending up at Calais.
