Roode has resigned with TNA.

As well as Spud, Tyrus, Angelina Love, Tigre Uno and Matt Hardy so far announced, but Roode is the big one, thats massive for TNA.

I also see The Pope has tweeted wait until the May Impact tapings. Hope he comes back, I always liked the Pope, his first year in TNA he was excellent and I thought his character could be a massive main event star, TNA's Rock as he had the charisma but then they just ABSOLUTELY wasted him, he's one of these guys BOTH WWE and TNA have missed out on, I think he could have been a huge star in WWE too.

This would be great. TNA dropped the ball by letting him and Jay Lethal go.

Stand out in what way? I only watch WWE, so have never seen them.

They're two big tanks, who can move like hell, and they're charismatic as hell as well. They're one of the more larger than life type acts on the indies at the moment. And if they're going to be in the tag scene in NXT, the only real option is to demolish everything that comes against them.

I think it'll take them some getting used to in regards to toning down their promo style :P although they are professionals so they should be fine.

A couple of months agos ago I read that WWE has trademarked 'Redneck Reppin' Company'. There was a lot of speculation that this would he the name of a new stable. I think it would fit the Briscoes perfectly.

They weren't always as animated. I think it's actually their current style that's probably got WWE's attention. It's the sort of thing that people will catch onto pretty quickly. Whether they love or hate it is a different matter, but it'll grab folk, that's for sure.

That stable name would be an absolute peach for people like The Briscoes btw. Put Colter with them as a final touch.

I meant more their choice of language :P a few years of dropping fucks, shits and pussies in their promos, not doing so might take a bit of getting used to for them.

But yeah, I also think the stable name would be great. I'd like to see Luke Harper put with them too.

Just got around to watching last weeks TNA impact. Brilliant episode.

Roode vs EY last man standing to kick off the show.

Galloway vs MVP

Bram vs Magnus

Ec3 vs Spud - hair vs hair

One filler match too but the four matches I just mentioned above all served a purpose to feuds that have going for a long time.

Ec3/Spud end was very well done. Only Rollins can rival his current heel work right now.

I watched it purely because they did EC3/Spud, which is the only thing from TNA I had any handle on. And it was a pretty f**king good match to be fair to them. Decided to watch the opener as well, because I was up for a brawl, and that was a good match too.

Didn't watch anything else from it though.

Yeah rumours swirling that Lesnar is VERY close to resigning for a similar deal and that Triple H is pushing hard for him to retain.

Idea being Cena and Bryan to win titles at Mania and use that as the headline events for most of the year with Brock as a special attraction.

Can't bear the thought, want him gone unless he starts appearing regularly.

To me that would be cutting off your nose to spite your face. He isn't going to come back full time, so him part time is the next big thing. He is in my view both the best performer in the WWE and only Cena can compete with him as the biggest active star. I think the fact he has only defended the title sporadically has made it more interesting. Monthly title matches make the title seem less special.

Regardless of whether Brock stays or not, I just can't see them deciding to go with Reigns losing at WM. I think it would do terrible things for him. If Brock stays, have Reigns win the title, but have him turn heel in the process. If Brock is leaves, have Reigns win at Mania and stay face, but have Brock kick the crap out of Reigns on his way out of RAW the following night, allowing Rollins to cash in and take the title.

I actually think reigns losing at wm could work if it's part of Brock turning face and reigns heel. In my opinion Brock is such an ass kicker a face turn is inevitable and if he stays he will be the most popular guy in the company.

I think losing the title after 1 day would hurt him more, that's not what wwe does to the "next top star". I also don't think Rollins is ready, but there's no rush, Austin, Hart, hbk took years to be ready.

Lesnar has defended the title twice since Summer Slam, they can't have the champ defend the title that rarely. I'm fine with Lesnar staying champ but he'll have to lose it soon after just so they can have the champ on TV, with their ratings down so low and the network struggling I would of though that would make sense to them.

    • Nothing But Thieves was £73 as well. Felt for a while like arena gigs are getting to extreme levels but this is adding to that. I did think there might be more inflation thanks to the latest rise in energy costs and here we are again.
    • Some of GB news headlines are pretty close to it
    • Tbf when they had the Miami Grand Prix F1 race a few weeks ago and there was fear of rain, they said Florida being so humid meant it would drain exceptionally quickly. And tick given it looked basically waterlogged at 8 UK time but by the new start time it was fine.    The nature of the beast though is that it feels like there is a lot of scope for electrical storm induced delays. Last year's Club World Cup and even just open air gigs or festivals in America seem to get affected by this a lot.
    • The Day Today was exceptional and I like how this clip still gets resonance all these years down the line.    Shame to do a rerun now that it would probably be 5 times as expensive just on the rights to the clips alone.
