btw, putting it in here as they were rumored for here over a couple of fests by people, but what's happening with this supposed Muse stadium announcement? !st it was said muse were announcing on monday, then said tuesday, when let's be honest, most expected it to be them at wembley.

roger is holding a press conference to announce on thursday? with manc international also announcing something apparantly thursday.

in the IOW forums apparantly solo, not JG said Guetta wasn't only not heading but not booked.

Perhaps Scottie's got the answer, in that they were playing a word game.

The info we've had on Guetta should be good, but like everything I get to hear I never know with 100% certainty until it's officially announced.

I don't get the thing about IOW not doing festival exclusives, I know they don't seem to care about acts doing their own shows but they advertised Foos as an England & Wales exclusive last year and off the top of my head (could be wrong here) neither Pearl Jam or Tom Petty did any other festivals this year.

Anyway, I still think David Guetta is an odd headliner, seems strange that he's jumped up to that status for IOW and Rockness next year. Does he have something special on?

    • I had a great time yesterday and came to the conclusion that everytime (or, more accurately, both times) I didn't have a great time at Primavera, it was water-related. Either there was too much of it (Thursday 2026) or there wasn't enough (Thursday 2022, week 1).
    • I sacrificed the first hour of the cure for Role model yesterday and oh man that was a good bet! That guy and his band are insanely good and an hour long only bangers!

    • Possibly not as there are chair size restrictions in the seated area, for the guidelines see here -  https://www.bbc.co.uk/backstage/radio2inthepark/bring   Have a look into applying for Access and I would recommend contacting them for further advice before buying a ticket - https://www.bbc.co.uk/backstage/radio2inthepark/access  They should also be able to answer if you can take a wheelchair into the seated area 🙂
