Hm. That's nice.

Can you give us more important information and tell us who's headlining the other stages on Friday? We don't know that yet and a lot of us are looking more forward to that.

I can't, soz. Tho I know there's another announcement coming on Tuesday, so perhaps it'll be in that.

I probably won't be watching her (as I'm going to Optimus and Radio 1 which are likely to have less alternatives) but in the duration of her headline set at Latitude she converted me from a strong disliker to a moderate fan. If it's not your cup of tea then obviously do other things but if you're thinking about it she does put on a good (if at times off key) show...

She'd certainly be able to hold my attention for an hour. It's not that she's terrible, I think the general skepticism is due to her being severely over-publicized and constantly shoved in everyone's faces. If people forget those pre-disposed doubts and just live the moment, Friday night on the main stage will be pretty great.

I'll be in the Worm though

just thought i'd offer some reassurance

I think the Friday headliners have always been acts that are constantly shoved in faces. Or the headliners for the past few years, anyway.

It's the 'safe' night, saturday being the 'not so safe' night and the Sunday being whatever.

    • Tonight was a disgrace. There wasn't *that* much rain, and it wasn’t *that* windy. A festival of this size should be able to withstand some adverse weather without it bringing the whole circus to a standstill. And if it is true that part of a speaker on the Revolut stage fell…   As for the communication - announcing Massive Attack were playing at 12:30 and then nothing for over an hour while people waited in the rain. It’s laughable it really is.   If I said I’ll never come back again I’d be lying. The shambles of Barcelona 2022 and the disgrace of Madrid 2023 didn’t stop me, so this probably won’t either.   This festival gets so much wrong, but it is always saved by having such killer line-ups. It’s just a shame it treats the fans/customers/consumers like animals. Compare it to somewhere like Glastonbury and it’s worlds apart.
    • Yeah, I admit that a small part of me felt relieved when they announced that MA are canceled.. But on the positive side- got to see Florence Road afterall, and they were great
    • Glad I could take the €3 bus to Playa Catalunya! Hope y'all warm and dry up.
