Yeah subs I imagine would be either foals, vaccines, or vampire weekend under Arctics and you me at six or 30 seconds to mars under blink.

Can't imagine there being a surprise sub this year but smashing pumpkins, pixies, or slipknot would all be a refreshing change.

I dunno, the two are comparable size but I'd say Foals are a fraction bigger and as you said, Melvin bums them. And as dentalplan said, I'm not sure they'll do fests next year.

I can only really imagine Jack White or Noel of that lot. I think Marilyn will be at Soni if he comes over. I think any predictions for Nick Cave are naive optimism/blind hope rather than realistic, I just can't see him wanting to. Morrissey similar (even though I hate him).

• Jack White seems like he has his hands full with both Raconteurs and The Dead Weather so I don't reckon he'll be about.
• Slipknot seem like they'll be in the studio over summer.
• Pixies look like they're doing early summer.
• Smashing Pumpkins, let's not go there.
• Marilyn Manson wouldn't sub now.

Right, there's most of the pessimism out of the way;

• I think Tool might actually be a fairly good shout (subbing Blink, ha ha ha) seeing as they're a big NIN type booking - but A Perfect Circle are being touted as a possible name for Coachella so I'm not sure where that leaves them.
• Outkast look to be actually reuniting, if they ended up at Bestival they could pop up but who knows if they'll even tour Europe.
• Noel Gallagher's HFB I can see happening providing Oasis aren't back.
• I don't reckon Foals would sub to be honest, as I've said before, if the headliners are who we think then I think they could be under the coheadliners. EDIT - I don't think they'd sub if the headliners are who we think, is what I meant to put.
• We'll have to wait and see how The Black Keys' tour ends up - whether they're playing dates closer towards the start or end. But I think they'll be at Beni which is late July so yeah, maybe.

Really don't think Tool will play. NIN are different as play the UK quite abit whenever they exist as a band, and are definitely more widely acknowledged then tool. I think blink will be subbed by a band like 30 seconds to mars - or hopefully a band like smashing pumpkins who in my opinion would be more likely.

no I haven't listened to it because the general consensus was that it was shit, all I remember is that song with Robbie Williams which was enough to put me off
