Do we think Brand New could be rebooked after they dropped out last year? They've supposedly got new material on the way so I imagine they'll want to tour it, especially after missing out the UK this year (I think?)

I thought I read earlier that they cancelled their stuff last year as one of them slept with another one's wife - has that uncomfortable situation bee rectified?

They are touring the US at the moment so I guess so.

But if that's the case he could have done it ages ago, nothing's really changed in the last day or so (apart from the Yellow/Asda thing, and that was minor).I think we have a decent active community here, a bit more irreverent and nonsensical than most but it's all good-natured (apart from the Yellow/Asda thing).Some guy in the TITP thread said they didn't want any 'R/L banter' in there, jeez that's a bit rich given what that section's known for.

Can I just publicly say that I really really do not get uptight or take anything seriously on this forum AT ALL (except my despising nature at blink 182) and I was as surprised as anyone at yellows reaction when he finally broke. All I made was a light hearted and humorous joke about his source credentials, and then he got all weird suddenly.

But I don't have a problem with him or anyone - it's a forum for gods sake, there are gonna be disagreements and pisstakes. And that's that.

So I have no idea if efests was referring to me and yellow but compared to the onslaught everyone gave gazza it's ridiculous. And I have not been on other threads but if they don't like this "ranter" then cool. We can all bask in being in the notoriously rebellious section.

Yeah as jump said they're touring at the moment and announcing more shows, and said they'll be back next year with new material, I'm not surprised by it either, just gives Jesse more fuel to write angsty lyrics

Ah OK, well if they're around Europe next Summer then yeah I'd imagine they'd try and get them back.

Wasn't Jesse the one that did the deed?

I imagine they'll be back next year. It was a few months before that they pulled out so it won't have pissed off organisers much.

Brand New would be better headlining the Rock stage or something, but I don't know if they're too big, plus OM&M have already nabbed that

And as much as I love Earl and Tyler respectively, EarlWolf was quite dire, it was funny at first but then it got a bit embarrassing. I'd much rather see Earl, Tyler or Frank solo at R&L next year, or even better, The Internet.

In an ideal world, I'd have their next album be incredible, and they'd headline NME v Arctics
