Well how would NIN and C+S both finish in the dark if Biffy did have a longer set? :P

It gets dark at about 9pm at that time of year and the curfew is 11 at Leeds and 11:30 at Reading so, heartbreakingly, it'll never be the case that subs are in the complete dark unless something changes with set times or sunset times. It's a shame it can't be more like Coachella and Werchter as they both have subs in the dark.

Fair point.

I think the only sub in the dark in 2012 was florence right?

I originally read that Native Braves and I was going to ask why you wanted to ban a band

I really hope you don't mean the band I think you mean.

My friend's sister's boyfriend is in a band called Native Braves. They're absolute arse, and a bunch of genuine c**ts. We went to see them at a fucking Sc**thorpe battle of the bands, they couldn't play their own songs and finished in the bottom three.

I bet they read this now and kill me.

The only reason I have heard of them was because they got all of their fans to spam the Tramlines Facebook page so they could play (fucking annoying but it worked though) .Never listened to them and I don't think I will now. Cheers for that

Doesn't surprise me; their frontman's the cockiest person I've ever met, despite being an absolute mong.

I saw Baby Godzilla today and they were brilliant! Absolutely loved it. It was a free gig, in a beer garden and the looks on some peoples faces were brilliant
Great guys too. Started to talk to them after the gig and they say that their R&L shows should be "interesting" due to all the security. Also if you're Yellow or Deadthrone (or like Baby G) they're going to tour in November and their debut will be coming out in Feb/March next year

Turns out there's at least one person who is an Arctics, Nero AND OMAM fangirl (from my clashfinder)

I cannot get over the clash that is happening on Saturday evening. How could someone design a line up where the Arctic monkeys, Nero and Of mice & men clash? They are some of the best and biggest artist that are going to reading this year, the reason I'm paying money to come to this festival (keep in mind I have been coming to this festival for the last 2 years). Many of the people that are coming to reading with us, I have spoken to about this have been appalled and could not believe some one could even be that stupid to clash these people. I think someone really needs to get a person that can do better line ups. Worst clash of any festival 2014.

    • Either or. They both play the same venues.

    • Interesting to read. It's mostly why we stopped going a few years back even though it's the nearest big festival to home. The post-exams timing and location makes it a rites of passage first festival for people in a big area. Understandably that leads to a bit of giddiness. Think lineup would need to be a lot more my cup of tea to be enticed back. Friends who are there are having a good time tho and no rain is a good thing for up there.
    • I honestly didn't know it had, I still thought it was where the view overlooked the lake and view.   I think my decision not to attend this year at least was justified. Biffy was the big draw but after Finsbury I knew they wouldn't play what I want to hear again and well work also got in the way. Believed interesting to hear if Libertines were any good as they were also a pull but Sunday did nothing for me really with all my acts on Friday and Saturday.
