That's a weirdly diverse taste.

I really don't think Nero / omam are good alternatives to pull the crowd from the arctics. I think we will have another Kings of Leon 2009 situation, friends telling me that everyone was pretty much at the mainstage and every other stage is rather empty.

Even at T, I went to disclosure after a certain romance and the crowd wasn't big at all. Put it in perspective I had seen bigger crowds for that stage for acts during the day.

Arctic Monkeys, Nero and OM&M is pretty diverse and is actually quite good as I think most people will have someone to see but I haven't met anyone is distraught about the clash. I know a few people that a bit disappointed about Nero and Arctics but they have been set on who to see since they have known that.

It was more crammed for Strokes in 11(?) than it was for KoL 09 for me

I think not even having an NME headliner opposite them is a poor move. Should have been Disclosure headlining NME that night and Bombay headlining it outright on Sunday, with Nero headlining the Dance Stage instead of Flume.

Maybe so but Disclosure would have probably faired far worse than Nero in my opinion. I don't know many people going to see Disclosure over Blink but more going to see Nero over Arctics. If Disclosure clashed with Arctics I presume most of the people I know would see Arctics

I think it was not crammed, just the crowd was just abnormally massive.

I don't remember strokes being crammed at all? I was at the barrier and I had loads of space, are you talking about leeds?

Disclosure will be absolutely booming.

Meaning full of people, I'm not saying its gonna be wicked/nasty/sick

Same here but I don't really know that many people (personally as their are some dickheads people that will probably see them but I don't talk to them but I could be wrong) going that is all. Some of them will probably change their mind but it should be a good crowd for them

Hahaha its interesting that you're more likely to associate Disclosure with dickheads whereas I'm more likely to associate Blink with dickheads :P

Not really, some of my best mates love Disclosure and would see both (and I know some people that are twats that like Blink) it is just these set of people seems to like that sort of music (I saw one of them wanting David Guetta and I think some of them saw them in Sheffield)

Anyway I like Disclosure and Blink so what does that make me? :P

I saw Lower Than Atlantis tonight, they were really good and I'll be watching them again at Reading. Decade were alright but nothing special but i'd watch Yearbook again if they were on the introducing stage and didn't clash with someone I want to see

I have a real reason to hate these people....

I don't hate people due to what music they listen to as that would be fucking stupid

Oh I misunderstood your post completely. I thought it said something like "Probably there will be some dickheads that see Disclosure", just meaning dickheads in general will see them.

It's fine. Just don't want to be branded as something I'm not that is all :P

Also if I really said that then I'd be at Disclosure ;)

    • We don't have any choice but I don't need a t-shirt for it! 🙂    On the bright side, it gets it out of the way for a nice 5 year run... notwithstanding wars, new contagious diseases and apocalypse.

    • Top 5 acts of the weekend for me: 1. The Cure 2. my bloody valentine  3. caroline 4. Father John Misty 5. Big Thief   Biggest disappointments: - Slowdive (the mixing/sound just wasn’t right, and that was about 20 rows from the front of the stage) - The xx (also too quiet and marred by talkers who had no interest in the music)    Positives from an organisational sense: - extra water point at Mordor this year - handing out ponchos before the rain and ear plugs before mbv    However…two of the water points had ran out on Saturday evening, which is completely unacceptable when you stop people from bringing in large bottles of water, and charge €4.50 at the bars for a 330ml can
