Anyone ever tried Elbow's beer? Enter shikari's? Motorhead's?

I might give some of these rums a go. Was walking through the campsite at Reading last year a bit tipsy, saw a guy just off the path sitting round with his friends in a Bloc Party t-shirt. Went over to him, asked if I could shake his hand for wearing a Bloc Party t-shirt. Agreed and thrust a bottle of rum and coke into my hands, his group started chanting 'DRINK, DRINK, DRINK'. Downed it, was pretty nice. And who can complain about free booze?

Normally I stick to Tesco Value Vodka

I was really tempted to order some of Shikari's beer, not heard any first hand experiences of it yet though, might be lovely, might taste worse than Carling :l

I found a can of carling on the floor last year whilst I was packing up camp... it's still in my fridge

Normally for parties and things I just drink lager for convenience. But yeah it is the spiced stuff, tend to drink it with coke on nights out and it's amazing. Disarrono is good too.

On the rum front the old sailor jerrys was to die for, but they changed up the recipie for the American market and made it crap.

However one of the gents behind sailor jerrys brought out the old recipie And called it Old J, not entirely the same as old recipie sailor jerrys, but damn close and lovely too.

Only problem is online is just about the only place that sells it and at £18-20 quid it's expensive....
