I was thinking the same, and tons of people don't wear black, the crowd at Download look like an average bunch of people like you would see in a supermarket to be honest.

Stereotypes aside, I don't know if I'd go download because of the lay out. A lot of people have said it's a proper arse getting between stages and the campsite/arena. Also the main stage seems odd, the crowd is split in two isn't it by barriers?

Only at the very, very front, you don't really notice it to be honest, Its not that bad getting from stage to stage, if you're wanting to swap between main and second stage keep to the left side of main, and the third stage stay over by the right, thats nothing to do with the divide, thats just to get a head start of your walk, third stage is quite close as its a tent, but second stage you have to walk right up away from the main and then turn right, didn't used to be that way, there used to be a shortcut but they closed it off. Things is its gotten more popular in recent years and is just WAY overcrowded so you're stuck in a swarm of people when acts finish to move around.

The walk to the arena isn't that bad, but its a case of once you head down you can't really go back to camp until the end of the day because its just not worth it, the trip there and back would be an hour without the time added for whatever you went back to camp for. It has its pro's and con's as a festival like they all do.

Yeah, one of the good things about Reading last year was I could go back to my tent & drink (or go to Tesco and get someone to buy me more drink ) when there was a gap in bands I wanted to see.

Is that that spiced stuff? I've never tried rum. Hardly get the chance to be a bit exotic when it comes to drinking. My friends are the fosters and strongbow type, don't even like proper ale

Bought (via my Nan) my mate some Hobgoblin for his birthday, everyone said it was disgusting and I was gutted!

Normally for parties and things I just drink lager for convenience. But yeah it is the spiced stuff, tend to drink it with coke on nights out and it's amazing. Disarrono is good too.

You can't beat a can of Lech though! My favourite lager by far. Good old Polish shops eh
