I can see You Me At Six playing third in 2014, its strange because i thought the whole pop punk genre was dying out but after Wembley Arena it seems like they are just getting bigger and bigger

I loved the 1st album, got bored of them after the second though.

Also am i the only person that actually enjoyed Paramore in 2010? I thought the response they got from the crowd was nuts. I was pretty fucked when i saw them this year but from what i remember they weren't as good, i feel they were only booked because of lack of alternative tbh

Not as top 3 on a soni line up that would go ahead. I think booking paramore would be suicide for sonisphere, is there really any demand to see them? I really don't think so. Soni should book some solid headliners, people who say RATM have no demand are just plain wrong. So what if there is no new material they've only played 3 uk shows since their return. I know people who went to all 3 and are desperate to see them again.

Anyway I don't think they're doing anything so I think they'd be better dropping the price and going to two days. Get Pearl Jam and SOAD maybe? Not paramore, terrible move

Nah he didn't actually say anything like that, it was a hint but was a usual vague statement from Jarvis. (I am still thinking, they will bring a new album...The SS Coachella gigs make no sense to end on really, and the lack of UK shows outside of festivals (It's what 4 gigs, 2 at the same venue? :P).

You people sicken me with a love for YM@6, they was fucking shit when I saw them support Paramore (So was Paramore for about 3/4s of it)...They was shit at Reading to...I can't believe I've actually seen that crap twice! (I was dragged by girls both times in my defence, only one agreed with me.) Fucking gimmicky shit like waving an item of clothing in the air ffs!.

When people mention bands like YM@6 and the like. I sometimes think if I was in band would I just be in a comerical gaf band designed to sell fuck loads so I could have my pick of girls and loads of money, or would I be poorer with a severe lack of attractive groupies but making a type of music I actually believe in. It would be the latter, even though I like girls and money more than morals.

Back on topic (kind of) I bet at least 2 of the headliners this year are going to begin the letter 'B' :ninja:

They're dicks for that clothing thing, stole that off Skindred. It sounds a lot cooler when Benji Webb says Newport Helicopter :L

Francheschi sickened me when he mentioned Drake in their set, sucking up to the hipsters big time. God, Drake is a steaming pile of excrement.

i like how they confirmed this but not that they were only two shows at the time too, surely if they were, they would.

r&l had fnm nme header same year as dl had them as headers, they are essentially booked both by same company. i reckon if r&l wanted a sub, they could have it, certainly won't stop dl potential sales, the lineups will be much different n people already know they're getting maiden, aic and motorhead n most likely stone sour

I don't really know the details of it but apparently people on the Reading forums actually asked Melvin at the festival, obviously at first I thought 'bullshit' but looks like its legit as Killers are out and Blur are increasingly unlikely (in my eyes).

I don't think it is otherwise R&L wouldn't have been moving away from metal since Download popped up and gone to such great lengths like not announcing the same high profile acts around the same time, not having them on the mainstage at both fests and even FNM weren't meant to be announced till after they had headlined Download.

Also just gonna a point out a contradiction from yourself, a few weeks ago you said Prodigy were pulled from R&L (based on a bullshit rumour) as Download wanted them this year so if it was the case that R&L could grab who they wanted from Download then that wouldn't of happened.
