Someone has fired a gun at police officers in Aston, Birmingham according to Sky News. Firearms units have been deployed in response, honestly can't understand this. Birmingham is in a state in some parts!

Glasto really does feel like it was years ago now doesn't it. :( Weird how most of us were complaining about their being more 'pricks' ruining the festival experience but now we'd all prolly give our left nut to be there again, In the sunshine with a can of brothers at the stone circle ;) pffft.

My friend says he saw looting of a newsagents in Cwmbran, though I haven't seen any news reports of it yet. The newsagents might have been the media hub of south Wales, mind. Generally I think the Welsh like their country too much to f**k it up, even the scummy Welsh.

I was switching between Sky News and BBC, and Sky showed a large number of locals who looked the sort, patrolling the streets in Eltham or Enfield.

very 'amusingly', there were more police deployed to police this mob last night than there were for any other single incident in London.

Watching bits of this mob on TV this morning, two things were very obvious....

1. a large number of these people were VERY wired - just look at those bulging eyes.

2. there was a total absence of non-white faces.

They're simply a bunch of w*nkers - no less w*nkers than the rioters - who are out on the streets looking to commit crime, tho different crimes to the looters. They're looking for non-whites to beat the crap out of.

    • Sabrina I actually think is alright, but as an overall thing including Fontaines in the mix it does look very boring.
    • I went to the O2 show as had cheap NHS tickets. I did love the whole Machine Gun Kelly vs MGK Emo/Pop Punk stuff amusing and could see that show going down well. I thought it was so funny watching the video skits of a die hard old skool fan gradually morphing in to an Emo Kid. That show with less old Machine Gun Kelly tunes and more MGK Pop-Punk would be ace.   Pair him against a heavy act on the other stage and jobs a goodun,
    • Not sure if this is allowed, but I have an additional daily ticket which I’m willing to sell for a heavily reduced price. If you, or someone you know wants to go that day, but wouldn’t for the original price, let me know.    Edit: It’s for Friday
    • Couple of standing tickets left on ticketmaster if anyone is still trying
    • Choosing  I think boycotting a festival you would usually attend simply because you don't like one of the acts is pretty petulant to be honest, just go and watch a different stage. There are plenty of the usual slam dunk attendees who would be into him, as well as attracting new festivalgoers too.
