End of eras all round Europe over the weekend. Guardiola's last league game, maybe Alves' too for Barca, Van Nistelrooy retired and in Serie A at the weekend. Juve won the league, undefeated.

At AC Milan, van Bommel, Inzaghi, Nesta and Gattuso are all leaving. God knows who will leave Inter too.

Del Piero got a goal in his last match too. 20 years in the first team. Stayed with them when they got relegated too. don't think theres anyone in world football who doesn't like him.

To be honest the liverpool/man u thing is more of a secondary thing, it may make a difference and it may not. The punditry element is the big thing, A coach has to criticise players in private, he will have (and will in the future) criticised england players in front of armchair and pub football fans, players just wont forget this.

I saw that. Lineker shut up fairly quickly, but I think its probably just a load of hot air and empty threats from Barton. He's a plonker that needs attention and controversy around him. I can't believe Barton of all people knows stuff on Lineker that the press don't already know.

Lineker's an idiot for even responding to him first time around. Just ignore the attention seeking stupid brat in the corner

Surely that's got to be misreported. Otherwise he's actually gone mental.

And I don't think there can be complaints about the amount of stoppage time. 5 minutes was probably about right because of the Barton massacre.

Bye Steve Kean...

[media=]

Although as Andrew Heaton said on twitter, bit off of the fans considering Steve Kean had the courtesy to have a pint and a chat with them. Alright he might have spouted some shit, but a bit of a stab in the back.

Both of the late goals were scored within the amount of time that Barton had stopped the game for - without anything added on for other reason (which there were legitimate reasons for too - subs, etc).

It used to be Fergie time, now it's City Time. :P

    • So we've signed a Horny Czech, and Bruno's turned up the training camp instead of doing Isak's nonsense.   Still not sure I believe Bruno's staying mind, but glad he's not doing the sh*t Arsenal are asking him to do to lower the price. If they want him they can stump up.   My suspicion is that whichever of Madrid/Man City don't start next season with Rodri will go for Bruno, and one of them will come in while Arsenal have f**ked about trying to get him cheap, which while I absolutely want to keep him, would still be good enough bants and a nice middle finger that I wouldn't mind it so much. I just wish we'd report Arsenal for tapping up.   If rumours are to be believed, we're after 2 more defensive signings, and an attacking player, on top of a replacement if Bruno leaves, having already signed a LW, 2 CMs, a GK, and some youth players. Huge churn, but apart from a couple of Bazou Toure's games for Ivory Coast at the world cup, I've not seen any of them play. Over 2 summers we've basically changed our entire team aside from the CBs.
    • I think the level of headliners Bloodstock get is varied    There's been bands who have gone on to play Download in quite a low spot like Meshuggah, Behemoth, Opeth etc.    Then they've had years like 2025 where you can argue that all three headliners are download main stage sub level    Knocked Loose right now i'd argue are 3rd down on main/opus headliner level while EC and FFDP are borderline main stage sub
