I've gotta say the crowd were shit tho and really didn't help. The place was rocking in the first half (I found a stream after seeing they'd quickly gone one-up) but was dead in the second. What happened to a crowd roaring their team to victory? ;)

Well both gutted and proud at the same time. In the second half they just ran out of steam in the midfield and we had no options on the bench. Our squad is certainly short of depth, but with Wilshere, Arteta, Diaby, Ramsey, Benayoun and Coquelain all out injured we we're a bit unfortunate. In the end though we can have no arguements as any team that loses 4 nil in the first leg doesn't deserve to progress. Just hope the team doesn't feel too down about going so close though, as they're on a really good run of form now.

The Ox is going to be some player. Surely he has to go to the Euros

Now we know where he gets his words of wisdom from!

Missed the game last night. Messi, unbelievable record.

And more ....

Messi has an invisible hypnotist running along in front of him.

There's no other reasonable explanation for why everyone seems to just stop and let him score.

    • Sadly, the ticket map below screams rear 5 blocks not on sale or never have been on sale. Especially when you look at the blue blocks with rows of unsold tickets.   And I say all of this as a big fan of Muse.
    • Personally, I don't think there will be any changes to the queuing system in place for the 2025 sale.  GFL will be aware that true bots are a risk, but they may also see large collectives of organised folks running multiple devices, containers or profiles to get an advantage as bots themselves, and then struggle to know where to draw the line without penalising folks who are simply more on the ball than others.   They will also be acutely aware that engineering tech to close those gaps will cost, and therefore eat into the money they are able to pass to the Charities, without passing those costs on to punters in the ticket price, which they will be cautious of doing especially after a 2 year break and the inevitable media coverage that will get.   This may all be naive and overly trusting of me though.....
    • went to their album launch show last night at the george tavern. it was fantastic! absolutely roasting in there though
    • I got mine yesterday but they sent the wrong ticket link, so had to email Ticketmaster and get the right one.    As for predictions, hard to see who else could do the Pulp/Sting/Byrne slot other than the Cure, and since they did Isle of Wight they maybe have an FR deal (Sting did both). It’s also the Cure’s 50th next year so imagine they’ll be doing a bigger tour. Pet Shop Boys or Kylie maybe?   Wolf Alice would be a dream. It’ll probably all be men again though.
    • Probably a couple of months yet....last ticket sale announcement was 10th October 2024.
