I would guess he/she is already going to Download

If you like that sort of music them

Download have the market wrapped up, and do it really well these days, especially since Soni went down the swanny so to speak...

Me, I'd rather watch cliff play tennis naked with sue barker in the crows nest, not being judgematntal or anything, I just think that sort of music is utter shit

Download do have a few gems this year (Converge, Vision of Disorder etc) but for the most part it's the same as every other year, though I do think to tar every band on the bill with the same brush is a tad daft. I'll probably end up going on the Saturday regardless. Motorhead, QOTSA and Maiden in a row is too much to pass up.

I assumed that s/he is going to Glastonbury as they're posting here, and the same to R+L. Unless you're a masive hardcore rich festival fan spending £600 on festivals probably isn't going to happen. It's just every one of your posts suggests a heavy band to play. and that just doesn't happen at Glastonbury

I'm not trying to be degrading sorry, I'm just saying that predicting so many metal bands is unrealistic and (if you're not already) you'd enjoy yourself much more if you went to Download

    • Same’s happened at MSG recently with Rush and Phish alternating nights. I guess each band has its own unique production so their riggers will be kept busy
    • The rumour was uk arena tour late this year.  Same as Charli xcx cant be announced until Reading headline is done.
    • Latest from the sun at least is that harry is still headlining but Olivia has turned down a spot next year to work on new music and hope for 2028.   So they can't have Fender, Fontaines, Harry, Olivia and Madonna.
    • I mean I don't think EC and FFDP are borderline sub, they wouldn't be any lower now.   2025 is about as strong as Bloodstock gets yet this year only one headline would sub and the others would play 3rd down or lower.    Machine Head wouldn't sub at Download regardless of rarity, they don't sell enough tickets and I'm not sure Gojira would sub either. Their last UK tour was a mix of smaller arenas and academy dates. Ally Pally being the only London date, not even Wembley Arena.
    • live music / main stage will generally end around 11pm but theres dj’s and late goings on right till 4am if you are so inclined.   Drinks are about £7.50 a pint probably and yes theres lots of mixed drinks / spirits / cocktails available to buy   wonderful festival, back for my third year in a row and 4th overall
