Anyone else reckon that the Killers playing IOW could make them less likely to headline now? Anyone think more likely?

Guessing it all but rules them out.

Who have headlined both Glasto and IOW in the same year?
as someone has already said, Neil Young. There might have been others too.

But when I made that post above I'd forgotten that Killers are also doing T in the Park - which means they've already got more tickets on sale for next year than they had this year (as they're also doing Wembley in June).

I was thinking when I posted that that they currently had fewer tickets on sale, which meant that another show wouldn't have been out of the question.

But as things stand, another show is probably out of the question... and that means that Glasto doesn't look too likely.

Surely all but ruling out The Killers should've been posted in the "What's Made Your Day?" thread.

if I'd thought I'd have any personal interest in any of the headliners, you'd be right.

But as they're so unlikely to matter to me, I don't really care who headliners beyond them being popular enough to headline.

    • Big Fender fan but don't feel particularly churlish in suggesting Rein Me In is mid-tier. Still, when Dean comes out for it, it will clearly go off.
    • I always thought it distinctly likely she meant BST anyway

    • I think it's a conscious decision this year not to publicize it beforehand. Not sure why. Maybe they have even removed the concept of a passport altogether and have something else... I like it because it helps me find parts of the program that don't function as slots in the timetable.
