So, pretty much exactly what everybody has been saying for months and says every year.

while people might have been saying it for months they've only been guessing. Anyone who's been saying it for years has always been wrong - apart from last year, tho that was only by chance and not design. Up-to and including last year and for a good number of years, the announcements have been scheduled for the end of May and have (apart from last year) happened at the end of May.

Thank christ for that. I'm getting sick of the 'insert band name here!' threads that get your hopes up and then turn out to be some crock of shit. Lets just find out who's playing and get on with it

<-- is still smarting about the Pulp news :(:(:(:(

Could do with this. Not feeling the love at the moment, only Paul Simon so far I'm interested in seeing. Need something to rekindle my enthusiasm.

In the half hour campervan ticket fiasco on Sunday when we thought they had sold out we had a quick 'are we still gonna go?' moment.

Hoping there are some lovely gems about to be confirmed that get the Glasto buzz going again

<-- is going to sulk about Pulp for quite a long time

I'm pinning a lot of hopes on the sunday other stage headliner. It's ace when there's a band you really like closing the festival on one of the big stages. Means that even when you are having a brilliant time, you know you still have something potentially even better still to come.

If someone like underworld are announced it will be a blow

I'm sure you at least will be a happy bunny. Michael has been heard to mention that for people his age it's a fantastic line-up this year. :P

Anyone decent I can think of have either been ruled out already or seem too unlikely. I like loads of bigger older acts so Neil's post gives me at least some hope
