I believe RHCP and The Smashing Pumpkins both got extra time slots. As both days had 9 acts one.

Same with Foo Fighters and Maiden

Blur and Metallica both definitely got 2 hours too

At the end of the day I think Blur would make more sense than anyone else. Apart from they obviously have the Hyde Park gig there is nothing else in their plans to do much else (apparently). New fans will love them an old fans, like myself, would attend both. So they would still definitely sell tickets. Almost more than any other band mentioned in this almighty topic

Maiden only did 1 hour 40. It was definately Blur and Metallica last time we got two 2 hour sets.

Got to be right! Surely they wouldn't hype it up if it was just an average line up, would they? I don't see the actual point in them doing that..

Always thought the Blur not being an exclusive thing could still be a goer, after all they're only playing the single Hyde Park show specifically for the Olympics event when they could easily sell out a few nights. Plus, the fact it is an Olympics event means it's harder for most outside of London to get there due to the inflated costs the Olympics bring. Therefore a festival appearance or two in the summer would make sense for all parties. Fingers crossed.
