How many bands/acts?

With all this talk of clashes etc, it got me thinking about the amount of acts I actually managed to see last year.

Personally the only acts who's entire set I think I watched were Snoop Dogg, Stevie Wonder and my mate Kormacs big band in club dada in Shangri La.

So how many bands/acts did you actually stay for an entire set last year?

Oooh good question.

Erm...

Rolf

Snoop

Gorillaz

Orbital

PSB

Snap!

Ray Davies

Tuung

Almost the whole of Miike Snow

The Wurzels (although technically I was asleep through half of it due to over exertion the night before!)

Stavros Flatley in Dada - all 5 minutes of it - Special Guests...hoped it was Kylie!!!

Fake Blood

Scissor Sisters

THAT is pretty good going for me with complete sets. There were snippet experiences as well but I was more of a nighthawk. I am quite impressed at my main stage haul. I used to avoid the Pyramid lots.

Detroit Social Club

Courteeners

La Roux

Florence

Bootleg Beatles

Biffy Clyro

Editors

Muse

Paloma Faith

We Are Scientists

MGMT

Stevie Wonder

That's 12, Still did loads of other stuff too.

The way I always see it, if you saw the bands at their own gigs, it would cost a hell of a lot more than £190 you pay for Glasto nowadays. Plus you get 5 days of being in the best place on the planet!!

(Just realised how much time I spent at the Pyramid stage  probs be killed for that)so thats 18 minus the ones I didn't stay for the whole set. Not bad going probs would been more but the heat was getting to me :P Plus the best food places are far away from pyramid/other/john peel. Missed most of Tunng and all of slash due to the stupid decision to go see football!

Acts I saw in full:

Friday:

Rolf Harris

Hypnotic Brass Ensemble

Lou Rhodes

Hot Chip

The Flaming Lips

Saturday:

The Lightning Seeds

The Leisure Society

The National

Muse

Sunday:

The Bees

Slash

Ray Davies

Faithless

Stevie Wonder.

As you can see not very many bands there but I tend to opt for the "Only watch the bands you really want to see and wander round the circus feilds/green fields a bit more" option. I prefer it better that way because it's less hectic.

Yeah, I saw loads of bands/DJs, but mainly only bits and pieces of each one.

I think I saw all of Hypnotic Brass Ensemble on the friday as well actually, now that I come to think of it.

Last year was my first time so I spent the majority of it on my way to see someone and getting distracted by something completely random.
