Blew me away when I was there and continues to do so every time I watch it, sure it will be just as good at Hyde Park and even better at Glasto. I'd love to see them play The Well and The Lighthouse as well, they play it every now and then, would be a treat.

see I am hoping that they seeing as though they have announced 2 out of the 3 headliners today, they should have announced u2 as its pretty much a cert that they will play - this means that they must be holding out on u2 so they can announce arcade fire at the same time

I am fairly broad minded in music but I just don't get Arcade Fire. Bad singing and very average songs just don't do it for me. What am I missing? Nothing i suspect. In contrast this never gets old..

Seetickets have now sold out of their Hyde Park ticket allocation, and with the Brits tonight as well, I'd be surprised if the entire gig hasn't sold out by the end of next week.

I don't think we need to be worrying about Glasto affecting sales for much longer.

Are Elbow just a lot bigger in the south or are their fans just a bit blinded? They are no where near big enough to headline and subbing is pushing it, they haven't even sold out standing on any arena tour dates and there has been little real talk of the new album within the press.

A solid back catalogue plus a hint of mainstream success does not necessarily mean a 'huge' band.

Elbow probably wouldnt sub at most 'major' fests (titp, V, r+l etc.) but come on we had dizzee rascal last year.

I think Arcade Fire subbing is nothing more than a pipedream

I'm really hoping it's Elbow, Arcade Fire then U2, but it doesn't sound like Arcade Fire will be playing judging by their touring schedule. If they don't then I'll be absolutely gutted.
