Bottled Bands

I'd prefer it if festival goers didn't bottle bands as the bands are so high up on stage the projectiles rarely hit them, instead the missiles just rain down into the pit where my wife invariably gets hit by them, as she can't see them coming as she's concentrating on looking through a lens trying to take photos for this website.

I've only seen three 'bands' bottled off, and believe it or not they were shit so I wouldn't want to see any of them again.

Those 50 Cent vids brought back good memories, the wet toilet roll catapult was a masterpiece of modern engineering.

50 cent was hilarious!! All the w*nkers complaining about people bottling him. He f**king incited it and had filled bottles waiting on stage ready to bottle the crowd after his reception at Leeds.

The guy actively encouraged it as far as I could see.

Given there's little info to be discussing at the moment, I thought this might be a good idea for a bit of fun. Of all the bands that have been bottled off at Reading/Leeds over the years, which would you most like to see come back and play bottle free?

Totally agree, it's barbaric and simply not needed. They may well think it's fun but they don't realise the danger they're putting people in including the artist on stage, photographers, security, even fellow festival goers. Plenty of acts play that I think are awful but no one deserves bottles thrown at them but what can you expect from a crowd that thinks setting fire to other peoples belongings and then chucking gas cannisters on it is fun.
