Some people have met up at festivals and meets. I live in Wales, though, so I'm at a disadvantage in that people don't allow themselves to be lured into the wet wilderness I call home

I have met Niel and Katster at a festival but have yet to meet anyone else. I'm up for going to the efestivals meet up at Glasto though.

I'm starting to understand why some older men chase younger women and its not just down to looks. Dating in your 30's with woman your own age is a complete nightmare. Every date seems to feel like a job interview.. do you live in a house or a flat? do you own this house? how big is it? what car do you drive? do you have kids? do you want kids? how soon will you want these kids? etc.

it seems like everything is quite scripted on take me out and the guys are told who to pick.

I agree. A friend of mine in her late 30s is like this with men, Seems to be all about the resources first, instead of weather or not you can have fun with this person and establish a real connection.

I think younger women are just more fun and have a more relaxed outlook.

Younger men (in an older womans perceptive) may come across as easier to control and may be deemed as more attractive. That whole boyish charm thing. yonger fitter more fun etc. Or it some messed up motherly thing...
