He's damn well responsible for providing outlet for sales, this was not provided adequately. He needs to aopologise to me and no doubt 1000's of others for not allowing a fair sale of tickets. To see people buying tickets on behalf of others is not at all fair.

I hold Eavis responsible for this farce.

If everyone got to the sale page, not everyone who got that page would get tivckets. So the end result is no different at all.

There's more people that want tickets than there are tickets. Some people will always have to lose out, and this it it seems that unfortunately includes you and not someone else. It's how the cookie crumbles.

There is no system in the world that anyone can introduce that will make those who lose out happy. It's just how things are.

I've missed out in the past, but realised it was because mor people wanted to go than there were tickets.

Getting angry about it is both futile and pathetic. If you are that passionate about it, focus on the resale.

Really? Get a grip. Everyone who wants tickets can't get them it's purely numbers. No site could deal with the demand. What should Eavis appologise for? Putting on the greatest festival in the world? Making people happy? Donating millions to charity?

I really feel sorry for anyone who didn't get a ticket but blaming Michael Eavis is just plain stupid.

ETA. You sound like a right twat, glad you aint going.

Spent from 08:50 until sell out using 50MB connection and IE, Mozilla and Opera. Didn't get into the queue once. Call me a cynic but are we sure there wasn't some kind of connection preferencing in place by SeeTickets? Phone was constantly engaged as well.

Anyway not going to cry about it - looking forwards to the resale next year!

the only thing i am annoyed about is the fact that some people have managed to get 20 tickets and others none...surely this isn't just down to luck/being at the front of the queue? i don't understand how if i was in the queue at 9am and haven't managed to get 1 ticket and then someone else has got a ticket before and then rejoined the queue to get even more tickets after me makes sense. but hey, i'm kinda annoyed and sad about not getting a ticket atm so i apologise for the mini rant.

perception is key here, i want to at least attempt to get tickets i didn't even have that chance and yet people were getting straigt on. A queing system where i can get onto the webpage and see my place in the queue would be nice

btw, my mate managed to get tickets for me :D

    • Same’s happened at MSG recently with Rush and Phish alternating nights. I guess each band has its own unique production so their riggers will be kept busy
    • The rumour was uk arena tour late this year.  Same as Charli xcx cant be announced until Reading headline is done.
    • Latest from the sun at least is that harry is still headlining but Olivia has turned down a spot next year to work on new music and hope for 2028.   So they can't have Fender, Fontaines, Harry, Olivia and Madonna.
    • I mean I don't think EC and FFDP are borderline sub, they wouldn't be any lower now.   2025 is about as strong as Bloodstock gets yet this year only one headline would sub and the others would play 3rd down or lower.    Machine Head wouldn't sub at Download regardless of rarity, they don't sell enough tickets and I'm not sure Gojira would sub either. Their last UK tour was a mix of smaller arenas and academy dates. Ally Pally being the only London date, not even Wembley Arena.
    • live music / main stage will generally end around 11pm but theres dj’s and late goings on right till 4am if you are so inclined.   Drinks are about £7.50 a pint probably and yes theres lots of mixed drinks / spirits / cocktails available to buy   wonderful festival, back for my third year in a row and 4th overall
