I meant LZ to be special guests!

And i dont think that my predicted lineup is that bad and BSC can Headline just as good as RHCP or Limp Bizkit could in my opinion!

@thedudeman: i am sobered up! I agree Led Zeppelin could headline all days in a freaky download festival blaze of glory!

However, this would happen therefore im saying that LZ could Headline Sunday with Van Halen Under them. E

Most people should admit, despite there status, Van Halen would be a PERFECT sub-headliner for LZ again in my opinion

Still don't think Van Halen will headline, there's been too much said against their ability to bring in punters by people at Live Nation in the past, it's not like they're getting more popular all of a sudden. ZZTop only played third, and I personally consider them a bigger band, certainly in this country.

My prediction is that if they play it would be second on the bill to a more relevant/popular band.

My current prediction for headliners is:

Blink 182

Limp Bizkit

2nd Stage - Scorpions

Ozzy Osbourne

Queens of the Stone-age

2nd Stage - Paramore

Metallica

Van Halen

2nd Stage - Rise Against

Not 100% convinced on Blink, or the second stage headliners, but if Blink do end up playing I can see a few more pop acts popping up to boost weekend sales for Blink fans

If Limp Bizkit play Id expect them to play lower than 3rd that they were last time, Andy said himself that was with the hype of them reforming and if they played again he'd have them lower like they were at Reading as the hype for them has died down.

I mean they've done Download, Soni and Reading and Leeds in the past two years, anyone who was desperate to see them who hadn't in the past has had a chance now. So for them to move up to second on the bill ain't gunna happen, they might only drop down to 4th on the bill though mind!

Download 2011 will be 3 from - Iron Maiden (will be touring new album and wont play Soni again), Soundgarden, Tool, Black Sabbath and Van Halen. Metallica will be at Sonisphere or Wembley

Sounds likely but I really can see Blink as one of the headliners, just can see them doing Rock AM Ring and then Download, and other early summer Euro fests as they did the late ones last year

I reckons you could be havin some of these lovelies in that field next June:

A Perfect Circle

Avenged Sevenfold

Bring Me The Haircuts

Soundgarden

Stone Sour (maybe Sonisphere)

Bowling for Soup

Alter Bridge

Rob Zombie

Skindred

Black Stone Cherry

Ozzy (Sonisphere?)

Gallows

Sonisphere will have the likes of Korn, Stone Sour, Tool, Disturbed, Halestorm and possibly the return of 'Tallica.

    • Aldous Harding absolutely brilliant in Dublin last night. Quirky as ever but sounded magnificent. Played everything off the new album I think, it all sounded fantastic. Band, including H Hawkline, were understated but excellent. Another one to look forward to.
    • Orbital opening the Other stage is a bold choice!
    • Great start for them
    • Thanks so much - that's very helpful. Someone else mentioned getting a train from Loughborough to East Midlands Parkway, and then a festival shuttle from there to the site. I think they were then going to come back on the Skylink Derby to Loughborough - I assume this is because the trains don't run as late as the Skylink, otherwise they would just come back the same way they came?! Is the transport hub a long way from the main stage? Just wondering what time I would need to leave Linkin Park to be sure of getting a shuttle. As I say, I am sure it will all be clear on the day, even after a few beers! Just hope the rain stays away...
    • I really don't think they would put Olivia Rodrigo on Occident stage. If it was her, they would put her in earlier Mordor slot and move Big Thief or Little Simz to Occident.   Fontaines DC are more probable, but don't really match the hype. However, again, if the hype was real, the artist would end up in Mordor.   That being said, I would love to see Fontaines DC tonight.
