well the last of my tickets just arrived :D

both deliveries only took 4/5 days from see email. never had a message from dx at all though. on a possitive note for see/dx, from t-day to delivery i have had no problems at all.

keep smiling if yours havent turned up yet, they wont be long.

We got our tickets today, although when I tracked them online they say an attempted delivery was made, which made me think I would need to arrange a re-delivery! A quick phone call to the boyfriends parents confirmed that they had arrived! :)

Here's what happened with my ticket (it arrived today - W00T!!!)..

Firstly as the dispatch emails started to go out I got an unexpected email from See saying that my address had been succesfully changed... I had not requested any change so this was very worrying and I thought initially that maybe someone was trying to steal my ticket somehow (as the delivery address was a flat in Bristol which isn't a huge distance away).

I immediatly emailed See and then rang up first thing next morning - when I rang up the guy I spoke to immediatly put my ticket orderv on hold. Later on I got a call from customer services in response to my email (I'd put contact details in email). She explained that the address had been changed on request but it looked like the member of staff who had taken the call changed the address on the wrong order! Anyway there were applogies and she reset my address and put notes on to make sure noone else changed it.

Not long after got the regular dispatch email from See with correct address on..

Then nothing for a week so I rang up DX last saturday morning around 9ish and got through after about 8 mins and just gave my delivery post code. As soon as they looked that up they said they'd put me through to their glastonbury team (so that was first relief as it meant my postcode had a ticket associated with it at the courier). Got put through to a nice lady who I also gave postcode to (they both answered the phone asking for tracking number which I never had) and she confirmed they had my ticket and offered to arange delivery date.

I arranged for it to be delievered and also decided to ask them to deliver to my work address instead. She confirmed that address, explained I'd need ID on delivery and asked for any special instructions - I asked to put the floor I'm on and also which buzzer to ring etc..

And today as arranged the ticket arrived, I was asked for ID (just bank card was enough) and those instructions were printed on the envelope.

The delivery guy though did say they were extremely busy and already were so even before the Glastonbury tickets!

Anyway in my case I found See to have been incompetant and DX efficient!

So I would reccomend if people have had their See email but nothing from DX to ring at quiet times - e.g. first thing in the morning and confirm your delivery as that certainly put my fears to rest.

P.S. if you live in Bristol and thought you'd changed your delivery address a few weeks ago - I would check on the tracker on See's web site that it's been changed (as See changed my address instead for someone!)

Afternoon all,

I have a mate who's ticket turned up at the weekend, but they also sent him someone else's and a campervan ticket too.

He phoned up Seetickets and they said he must send it back to them by recorded delivery BUT....... they won't be able to refund him the cost of doing this!

He's getting in touch with the guy via Facebook (thinks he's managed to find him) and will send it directly to him if it's the right guy, if not he's going to bite the bullett and send it back to see on the basis that if it was his that had been sent out, he'd be raging and Glastonbury people are in general, good eggs.

Good luck to all....

I got my confirmation email on the 27th and then nothing else from DX. I thought there might be something up, so called them up (on hold for a total of 27 minutes) on the 1st and they told me I had to arrange delivery.

Silly me, I thought they would deliver it without me having to ask them.

Arranged it for the 2nd (yesterday) and crossed my fingers that making someone from my family wait in all day wouldn't be in vain. Got to the end of the day and no tickets. Fantastic. Woke up this morning to find an email saying they had attempted delivery, which is obviously complete bullshit. Got it rearranged for tomorrow and currently have all limbs firmly crossed.

TL;DR - I hate you, DX. Go away and never come back... but give me my tickets first.

Got my 'despatch' email from See at 10:35 on Friday 28th May. No correspondence yet from DX. Am going to leave it until tomorrow, beacuse of Bank Hol, then call up. Based on experience from previous years, the tickets will invariably turn up, probably when you;re least expecting it!!

My other half says 'stop stressing' as he does every year.....

I had an email from see on the 27th saying my tickets had been passed to DX for delivery.

I have heard nothing else at all from See or from DX.

I have just called DX on 0844 371 0000 - was in a queue for 30 mins, the guy at the other end asked for tracking number or postcode, I gave them my postcode and he said he'd put me through to the Glastonbury team (good start). Gave the woman that I was passed through my postcode and arranged for my tickets to be delivered tomorrow.

If you've been waiting a week and have heard nothing give them a call, it will put your mind at rest.

What I don't understand is why I've had to call them first to get the initial delivery underway.

chronology of events

got 3x email from See late on Weds 26th saying tickets on their way. no reference number

email expected from DX with reference number and delivery date but nothing came

email received from See on Tues 1st with a "Glastonbury Ticket Tracking Reference" of xxxxx saying "Great News - Your tickets for Glastonbury have been dispatched and will be delivered to you tomorrow by DX Secure. A signature will be required but anyone at your address can sign for them." I'm camping and out of range of emails so had no idea of this, although delivery was to work so wasnt worried about going away in first place

phone call from an unknown mobile number yesterday afternoon (Weds 2nd) and after they tried twice i called it back. it was some person who didnt say who or where they were from (sounded freelance) saying they had my Glastonbury tickets and could i be outside the delivery address in 10 minutes with some relevant ID! panic stations

anyway she delivered the tickets to our office reception and insisted on some ID (which fortunately i had pre-armed reception with) and i picked them up today

then got an email today confirming delivery with signature

so all in not a stressful event, but they needed ID, were initially not prepared to come into the building and i only recieved a reference number to track the tickets with 6 days after notification and the day before delivery

cant really grumble too much about that performance but clearly DX are trying to cut as many corners as possible

Here's my story. Got 'despatch' email from See last Friday 28th May. Did NOT get an email from DX with a Tracker number. Literally just received an email from See confirming that delivery was made yesterday!! Called my other half who said 'oh, yeah, forgot to tell you, I signed for them yesterday afternoon'. GIT. He knows how much I've been stressing......still, I'll forgive him, because I am now the very proud owner of 2 shiny Glasto 2010 tickets (for me and my friend, the hubbie can't come - HA!).

:)
