Glad I didn't get a ticket...

Two reasons:

1) Besides Reef and The Flaming Lips there are no acts I'd be excited about seeing. If I went I'd probably watch Muse, Vampire Weekend and Editors. I know Glasto is more than the music and it always will be but there's nothing that would really enhance my excitement.

and...

2) Pixies aren't playing, which means that I won't spend the next year depressed about missing the chance to see one of my favourite bands ever. Result! :P

Still, horses for courses, I'm sure loads of you will enjoy it and I wish you all a great festival. :P

The masses seem to be ecstatic with the line up including myself. I reckon there's a real good mix of acts.

Although, Pixies would have been amazing. *fingers crossed* they're one of the TBA's :P

Wow, some humourless people obviously don't get my humour. Obviously I'm gutted about not getting a ticket but the one act I'd have loved to have been there not playing kind of softens the blow. Also, I think Glasto has had better line-ups but hey, horses for courses like I said.

Also, yes I have been to Glastonbury, if you failed to notice my sig?

I think I know what you mean, none of my (personal) top 10 acts of the last 40 years have appeared in the line-up (yet?). Having said that the line-up looks solid and I'll make more of an effort to see new stuff, which can work out better anyway.

London, 3rd & 4th of June... Warmup shows? :P

    • RIP Roy Hattersley
    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
