Actually, one of the striking things about today's announcement is the number of bands/artists that were on people's wishlists here being announced...over the last few months we've had threads hoping for George Clinton, Rodrigo y Gabriela, Tunng, recommendations of Mariachi El Bronx, Dr John, complete wishful thinking on the part of LW that the Bees might indeed turn up ( :P ) and so on and so on...no wonder lots of people are happy! (though I suppose we do wish for a lot of things, some of them are bound to crop up). Now all it'll take is Chic to be announced in one of the TBA slots and Wooders will probably pop his brainstem :P

Thank you .... thank you ... thank you

I thought the announcements would be for the mass consumption crowds and that trying to get that one elusive tickets on Sunday would be even harder.

But ... and no offence meant here ... won't make a lot of difference to the numbers trying

.....good news about The Bees though !!

I'm not convinced it will happen, but if BB King is the 'TBA' then I'll be the one popping.

Still, I can't be too greedy. I'm stoked at today's news.

    • Christ didn't even see that!
    • It does feel very bland. It would certainly spell another year (my third, I think) away from Pyramid headliners for me. That doesn't mean they aren't worthy, though. I don't follow what any of them are up to, as it isn't my thing. Good luck to them.   You would think coming off a fallow year, they would want one big hitter. 'Big hitter' is obviously open to debate, but that was/is Madonna. Let's have it right. The eggs have gone in that basket, and it seems (as far the rumours go) that it's blown up. So now you're left with another plan B/replacement headliner.   I'm still of the opinion that Oasis will do it, before the Oasis thing is all said and done. Probably 2028, if they can come to an agreement. It may transpire that 2027 is bland (or at least to some of us), and 2028 is a bit... wild.   Again, though, none of us categorically know ANY of the headliners, as it stands.
