I didn't think to smell her as I was too busy going gooo goooo gaaaaah gaaaahhha as I was at snuck into the BBC for the Jools rehersals. Saw her perform for 2 hours last week at Bristol and she was the only member not looking shattered by the end. I think the men were shot before the 3 song encore. I've also reliased that I've now seen Hot Chip perform 4 times - which for me equals my previous record of 4 times seeing Marillion and Iron Maiden. So they must be good!

I saw them last week in Brixton and Emily Eavis was there and tweets how good they were-and they were indeed amazing. Gotta be a banker for the other stage.

Django Django were the support and they also played a blinder-they would be amazing in the John Peel tent.

Hot Chip to headline the Pyramid!

original sounding UK band, great live, good back catalogue but would appreciate the 'leg up'. also have a good recent history at the festival, as Hot Chip and various side projects. and you can dance to them.

i'd prefer it some of the hoary old acts usually touted.

Hot Chip are really interesting, they've been given time and space to grow and have responded by quietly, and with very little fuss, becoming an excellent band with a big back catalogue and excellent live performances.

I think they should have sunset slot on the pyramid, they were great the other year in a similar slot on the Other before Flamings Lips. That was a good night, Hot Chip, bit of Flaming Lips, then Sasha playing in the glade.

Like this Sasha remix of Hot Chip off the new Album

    • I don’t know what was going on with SEE tickets for Phoebe Bridgers this morning.. I had a presale code, got into the sale after queuing for 15mins with the green bars of doom.. but no map to choose seats from, just categories like “aisle seat” and “reserved seat” and sometimes a drop down of the section, but you had no idea where in the section the seat was… then you clicked through and either got “no tickets available” or a captcha which just kept looping no matter how well you selected the thing it was asking you to identify.. then eventually it spat you out to another “not enough tickets available” message.. I went through that loop SO many times.. I was doing captchas endlessly.. it was totally borked.    in the end I went back to the email with the presale code in, it then directed me to ticketmaster rather than see, still for Manchester, and I could then see the tickets on the map .. get them in my basket etc ..but there was only upper tier left.. so going to try my luck on ticketmaster for the main sale.. SEE was total garbage!
