Things that annoy you ?

Internet is being rubbish. I've had tabs open for efests and facebook for a few hours, and they're working fine. I open a different tab and it won't connect to the internet. Open a new webpage or firefox and they don't work. And if I try to go on a different website on the tabs I've got open, it doesn't work.

Grrr grrr grrr.

F**king "Singstar" and all of the rest of these karaoke clones. A house near me is having a garden party and they have been at it for about 3 hours now. It sounds like drunk football hooligans amplified to the volume of the Pyramid stage. They've got a flagpole in their front garden as well. And a stone sculpture. F**king show off, look at me, listen to me, cnuts.

Last night, Rabid & I were making the most of a lovely evening & sat outside with a fire on in our chiminea.

The dozy mare who lives 2 doors up came in & smelt WOOD smoke & called the fire brigade. No thought to see if there was an obvious explanation for it, such as the music & sound of us laughing out the back of our place.

Queue 3 fire engines & crew turn up. They seemed to find it amusing when I ran out to tell them we had the chiminea on the go.

What a waste of resources!

People assuming because you are pregnant you are either an invalid or a moron. Yes, I can lift things heavier than a piece of paper, yes I will work until I am ready to drop, yes I can walk more than 10 feet without keeling over. Grrr!

People at work who go to the toilet and choose the middle cubicle to go for a shit in. Theres 3 cubicles, Im in the one on the left, the one on the right is free - why not use that? Usually real noisy shits too, lots of fart action before they go to pooptown. I even heard one guy on his phone before. He let an "arggh" grunt out in mid sentence to the person on the phone as he dropped a log.

Oh, and people who go for a poop de jour and then dont wash their hands! FFS!!

May have been covered before but hospital car parking charges are f#cking outragous. I'm going to visit my uncle in hospital later. Visiting hours mean I can only really get along to see him for maybe 30mins at best after I finish work. It's going to cost me £4 to park! I can find the cash but just can't see how they can possibly justify a flat fee like that. He's in a very very bad way so i'll be popping in every night for the forseeable future, just feels like the hospital is giving me an extra kick in the balls

Things that annoy me, way too many things annoy me :)

Currently though, the most annoying thing is girls playing games, girl says she really wants to go for a drink with me-then she's in a 'weird mood and says maybe' then I ask a week or so later ..she replies to my text but ignores the question..excellent!

After begging me to take him back 2 years ago - i get told last night that we have nothing in common and he doesnt see where we will be in 5 years and if we are in the same place it will just be dull so thinks we should call it a day now.

whats even more annoying is that apart from the hassle of finding somewhere to live packing and moving etc i'm not that bothered! so i've wasted nearly ten years of my life on someone that just isnt that interesting to me.

Camorons outburst about the Moat situation:

Totally forgetting that he was clearly a mentally disturbed human being with a family.

Looks like another five years of an ineffective sledgehammer of a justice policy that will create more criminals than it reforms.

f**king idiot.

My best mate is pissing me off at the moment.

As I posted in the singles thread recently, my mate got engaged while in Cuba in March and asked me to be his best man. He then spent the night we went out for their engagement drinks talking to a girl he works with. His fiancé asked me to go and ask him to stop ignoring everyone and just talking to that one girl, I went over and he told me to f**k off. I assumed it was because she was having some personal problems that were none of my business so I backed off. Later it transpired that earlier that week he had told the girl from work he quite fancied her, she said she liked him too and they made out a bit.... Something you would think he might have mentioned to his best man, but no, I heard it from a third party. And he invited her to his engagement drinks with all his friends and all her friends. The night ended with my mate and his fiance having an altercation ending with them going to seperate homes. I told him not to do anything drastic until we had sat down and talked about what he was going to do.

10.30 the following morning I got a text from his (now ex) fiancé saying he broke up with her, and said he'd rather be with someone else.

That afternoon me and another of his best mates met him at a pub and told him to make sure he doesn't mess his ed around any further - if he's certain he wants to break up, don't make it seem like the door might be slightly ajar for reconciliation. She needs to know it's over (at this point she had essentially forgiven him and said they should work at it) he agreed. Then went out to a park and a had a day out with her the next day. Then invited her to the cinema the following week. Then took her out for a ride on his new bike yesterday. Then went to the theatre last night (in fairness quite a few of us went as we'd had the tickets for a while), but he sat next to her.

He is adament he doesn't want to be with her, but he keeps making time for her and hanging out when she wants to. In the end she walked out crying just before the end of the show saying "she can't do this" he didn't follow, we got outside and he slipped off, walking in the direction of her house. I rang him and told him to go home, he hung up on me and turned his phone off. Certain he was going to make things worse with his ex, I left a voicemail and a text explaining that he had to stop messing her about... About an hour later I got a text from his ex, apparently she hadn't seen or heard from him after she asked him "how can you be over this so quickl" which apparently was the real reason he turned off his phone. I got another text at 1.10am fron the ex telling me that she had rang his house and his mum said he hadn't gone home, and I got a final text at 2.30am from my mate saying he had just got home and had been round the other girls house. But they're not f*cking, and are just taking it slow.

He still won't stop leading his ex on though, who I feel really bad for, as she clearly thinks he'll come running back to her when he says he won't.

I wouldn't mind so much if my own life wasn't such a shambles without having to worry about my dick of a mate

    • I got in for £11.25 in the end, which was absolutely ridiculously good value, and made the queues and overselling of the venue much more tolerable! Sniping in on other people’s unwanted tickets on the day of an event might become my new hobby I think 🥳
    • Ann and Nancy Wilson are planning a final world tour for HEART starting next year. They were never at Glastonbury. They should do it.
    • sub yes I could see but I don't think they get 1hr 15, a headliner starting at 18:15 though is unlikely. Even the recent co-headlines that have had like 1hr 15 then a 1hr 30 after were on 8pm or just before, you are trailing behind more than 1.5 hours then. In that scenario some 3rd down bands are only starting at 18:15 and some haven't lol. I agree they won't not book them due to this but it won't be 6 headliners. It would be 5 headliners and you wouldn't want to see 5 headliners booked but Biffy were to not be thouhgt of as an option for one. Wolf Alice on the other hand could sub no bother and you'd think nothing of it. I'm not so sure Biffy would get headline though after the festival choice in Kendal this year.
    • Definitely. UKIP also used Merkel welcoming 1 million Afgans to Europe in 2015 during the brexit vote.   Politicians in other countries within the EU know the are going to lose voters to parties to the right of them over stuff like this and they've no control over it.
