Went to Isle of Wight to see them again last year, crowd was largely static and didn't seem to get them at all, felt a little embarrassed in fact. Should have played Glastonbury so here's hoping for next year.

Apparently when they did Leeds in 2005 they had one of the smallest crowds ever for a headliner, partially due to the fact they were up against Kasabian who rammed the tent out from what I've heard.

Now Kasabian are a good band, a great live experience and have some right anthems...but Pixies are Pixies!

Saw The Pixies at Brixton recently (Friday night) and they were tremendous. I'd love to see them at Glastonbury. I'm thinking they would be best just before the headliner on the main stage.
