Suppose Blur closed it last year but I get a feeling as it's the 40th and Sunday is the locals day that they'll close with a 60's/70's classic artist/band.

I used to but they won me over after their incredible performance at Leeds.

Admittedly I've not yet warmed to Amnesiac or Hail To The Thief, and some of the stuff on those albums really are boring...

No no no no. You're wrong. Amnesiac and Kid A have some experimental bollocks on them but Hail To The Thief is a solid album and was real return to form IMO. When I bought it I decided that they deserved a 3rd chance but no more before I wrote them off for disappearing up their own arses. In fact, if the tour in the tent following Kid A wasn't brilliant, I'd have probably written them off sooner. Glad I kept the faith.

I was pretty drunk I'll admit, but I found the whole thing to be very memorable. It was Warrington I went to too. Just so much more wonderfully odd than a sterile arena gig. The wall of sound of Everything in it's Right Place, in a tent, in a field in Warrington, whilst pissed and a bit gobsmacked. Brilliant.

Amnesiac is a masterpiece!...Life In A Glasshouse...magic. Though I tend to listen to Kid A onwards more often than going back to the earlier stuff. When they played a lot of "greatest hits" on their 2006 tour they sounded worn out and just going through the motions...Radiohead by numbers. They were much more invigorated in 2008 when touring In Rainbows. They just seemed to be much more into what they were doing, and I have to say I think the gigs on that tour were among the best I've ever seen them.

Everything they do for me is so damn f**king awesome. I listen to every album frequently and have to say they all kick ass. I find it hard to say " that was the worst ", because they are all so different. No one has mentioned how great The Bends is, their are some classic tracks from that, even for me on a par with Ok Computer. Amnesiac on Kid A are brilliantly Arty and watch the online concert in Paris that featured these two albums, absolutley mind blowing. Hail to the Theif has some great tracks and the most underated track of theirs is " Sail to the moon". In Rainbows has grown on me and the leeds set was magnificent. I saw then at Finsbury park , three rows from the front and it was great, i would just love it if they were there next year.
