Ok, so if you had a magic flying carpet that could transport you back to Glastonbury for just ten precious minutes where would you be and what would you be doing?

I think I'd be stood in the crowd singing 'come on, come on, come on...' along with Blur, happy faces all around and my friends all looking like it was the best night of their lives

I would be in the John Peel enjoying Gaslight Anthem - just at the amazing moment when Mr Springsteen came on stage and I turned to my husband and screamed ITS BRUCE - and then was absolutely blown away with what I witnessed for the next 10 minutes - didn;t know whether to stand there with my hand over my mouth in awe, or jump around like tigger on a pogo stick !

I hardly had a voice the next day coz I'd shouted so loudly - an amazing amazing Glasto moment and I still get goosebumps thinking about it !

OR

Sitting on the floor of the vege cafe in the craft fields (?) on Thursday morning eating the most yummy vege breakie wearing amazing wings, my face painted looking out and feeling so so content and like I was meant to be there - if I could bottle that feeling and use just a little every day I would be a very content bunny !

Now that im sober Id go back and check out 10 mins of Kasabian or the Boss.............

was there in body but not in mind for Kasabian............too much Brothers!!

was sitting on a chair asleep surrounded by 90000 people at the Boss!!! :D (I blame the early Rolf Harris start beside the Brothers Bar!!)

But if I actually think about it, id go back to our campsite the time when some prick from North London came over and robbed a wallet with £300 quid in it..............I would use the 10 minutes to tie him up, gag him and strap him down nice and tight on the inside of a portoloo, which not even the drunkest of drunk would consider using!! Leave him stew there for a day or so...............

I'd be at the Stone Circle, watching the sun rise on Friday morning and listening to the bongos and djembi drums. A magical moment.

I'd then throw the magic carpet on the fire so it couldn't take me back to present day, sitting in an office typing up case-notes.

I'd be back here in the Healing Field with my beloved greenfairy. I could have spent the entire festival there.

Walking from the Queens head through to the jazz field on a barmy sunny day with cider in hand and ending up at the Avalon field to see the Mummers ,who finished with their song " this is Heaven", it was so apt, it left a lump in my throat, through happiness and sadness that this had been the best weekend of my life and that it was soon to end.
