Bilbao BBK Live 2026

[Port is Dead]

Looking at this for 2026. Expect a strong lineup considering the acts touring and it is the 20th anniversary.  Anyone recommend accommodation options in the city, hotel or apartments? Would love a pool but already expensive and slim pickings on Booking dot com

Scratching my head as to who will headline this in 2026. Feels like the main options have been snapped up by Primavera or Mad Cool.

I have started a 2026 thread and merged your posts into it. 😊

This has been going for a few years. Primavera picks first, then goes Madcool and last (and least) goes BBK. And despite that sometimes they are able to make somewhat decent lineups.

 

Anyway, this year im not very hopeful.

Plenty, Primavera took The Cure and Carl Cox. Mad Cool is looking heavily likely unless Werchter pull it out somehow. For £240 a weekend ticket it's a bargain.

For actual headliners though Jack is the only oone and he's not going to be there. He tours as most have said for 3 weeks in Europe max, 4 weeks in unheard of usually and he's here as early as June 6th kind of time. Muse are the only other headliner there. Bloc Party mot a headliner but potential for bilbao

When do tickets go on sale? Hoping to go to a European festival this summer (I live in Scotland). Narrowed it down to a few options but Bilbao BBK seems the best value and reviews. I'm considering booking a cheap, or as cheap as possible, hotel in advance of tickets being released. Unsure if this is too risky or not.

Vampire Weekend are in a supposed "leak" for Rock Werchter on Festileaks Forum. Could perhaps play here too? Then on to the Superstruct festivals in the UK like Truck, Tramlines etc?

Usually they go on presale a few days before the announcement, but there is no way to know when that’s coming.

 

I hope they release it this month.

Nothing to suggest VW are about is there?, the only hint was a Werchter festileaks new user forum who said he saw a screen with them further down that they would be.

Hopefully they'll come up with something a bit more original than what's currently on offer at most European festivals next year. I know you can only book who's touring but a lot of the festivals seem especially 'samey' so far.

Couldn't agree with you more! Feels like the same acts over and over this year.

 

I am a bit worried for BBK this year. Of the better bands left to choose from, most seem to have been snapped up already.
